Tell Group Story around the Campfire?

Hi
So my Sims were having a campfire and I wanted them to tell group stories, but somehow the option doesn't seem to work. Whenever I select "tell group story", just nothing happens. The other Sims gather around my Sims, but my Sim just won't start telling the story. They just all sit there and stare.
Is anybody else experiencing that problem? I am not using any weird mods, just MCCC and some LittleMsSam and Kaiwaiistacie. It hasn't been working for a while already.
