I have been playing in my Scenario save. Dustin Broke is the star of my $1,000,000 simoleon scenario. He is up to about $10,000 LOL He is working his way up the old-fashioned way, rags to riches. Having a lot of fun with him in his tiny shack, his garden, and his old beat-up guitar. Turns out Dustin can sing! He works part-time as a fisherman and does odd jobs too. All the trips to the gym have gotten him in pretty good shape!

Weird beginnings hah? My 3080TI is also not recognized by the game LOL I tend to function on ultra at about 160 to 182 fps, which is total overkill for the sims but overkill never hurt anyone right? LOL
Today I started the tedious process of making sure ALL sims that should have degrees get them, even if it means leaving a career temporarily. First up was Ahmad, since I was still playing/setting up this household, who got a history degree from Foxbury and is currently working as a judge. Miko is in her last semester at Britechester for her language & literature degree while being stalked by Clara Bjergsen (this woman is a menace with her 6-7 calls per day!!!! yet everyone complains about Eliza)
I also didn’t realize that Miko had a daughter named Annika when she started dating Ahmad. I aged her up to a toddler, Ahmad adopted her via CAS, she maxed her skills then aged to a child. She’s adorable and about to complete the whiz kid aspiration.
Today, Caleb had an interesting conversation with Rowan about getting Forgotten Hollow annexed into The Myst. A majority of residents are now in favor but are concerned that it won't happen because of Vlad's influence. They also fear reprisal if they vote for Caleb's plan.
On returning home, Caleb found a book from Mortimer Goth in his mailbox. Mortimer has been helping him research ways to gain influence and access to the Council of All Magic in The Myst. Caleb's one contact with Morgyn Ember had resulted in a vague promise to check into his proposal, but no sign of follow through. Access to The Myst is nearly impossible for outsiders, but Mortimer's note hinted that this book might hold the key.
And, back at The Blue Moon, Oberon's new protégé is proving to be a bit of a chameleon with some surprising skills. Some typical, some not.
I like Vlad. He's like a protective father figure half of the time. Got Papparazi and fan trouble? In came Vlad T-posing over them to assert dominance. Didn't expect him, but it was kinda amusing.
I invited him to a wedding as a guest of honour (just for the sheer amusement to get him in public) and true to my earlier thoughts, he is hilarious to have around. Talking to any guests? He's showing up in a cloud of fog constantly
Not featured was the mix of either sadness or madness that there was edible cake. Probably because it's not plasma, I'm not sure. But try holding a wedding where its all vampires,

Whenever I see Marcus Flex, I think of a certain phrase, all I can hear is Marcus calling the possessed worthless drones, or telling them to get that back banned.
Died just a few minutes earlier? All is well for Vlad seemingly now though.
Note to self: Remind this Sim to have some shouting at clouds feelings, and a funeral, or a couple of daymares

I started a new save just to allow MCCC and my neighborhood stories to run wild I have everything enabled on MNS and lifespan on short except played household. Well, Ms. Judy decides to harvest my sim’s entire garden which annoyed me. So, I added her to the household, murdered her with a vicious bunny, sent her to the netherworld then deleted her toddler son and kept her $500k for my sim. I feel vindicated.

I am back home now and not at all happy with the results I got while on the road. So, since this is the original save (I copied it for the road trip), I am picking things back up where I left off. Erik received yet another nomination for Best Song (his seventh). The week is dragging by, but he secured his Ring Bearer (I hope). I deleted the Rehearsal Dinner and set it up again, same for the Wedding. Let's hope I have better success this time around. I do have to say I've learned a lot on how to throw a wedding via MWS. Helps if you recognize the three oversized wedding arches in the venue. Just sayin'. (I do believe that was the root of my problems.) I also learned you don't invite the Honor Sims to the wedding, as they are already scheduled to attend.)
Brianna, the Maid of Honor (Kayleigh couldn't choose between her sisters, who are all in the wedding) took the bridesmaids all out to the spa in NewCrest so they could have a nice relaxing time just three days prior to the wedding. She and Kayleigh got their nails done. Regina got a foot massage. Who knows where the Teen Mercedes went? Next thing I know, Louise is there trying to get the notice of the Paparazzi. Erik is there, Adrian is there. I'm surprised Joey and Aaron didn't show up. LOL Erik made gifts of the bouquets for Kayleigh, Hayleigh and Regina. He tried to give Mercedes hers, but she was elusive. (Then it dawned on the player, he was a bouquet short, my bad.)
On Thursday morning he headed off to Tartosa to purchase two more (just in case) and then went to the home of the Golden family to present the Teen with a friendly gift. Then Erik took Kayleigh, Brianna, and Joey out to lunch. Right before they left the Cantrell home, Erik presented his sister with a friendly gift. Now all of the bridesmaids are armed with their bouquets. It's early evening on Thursday and I'm about to shut down for the night. That road trip really took it out of me. But, we had fun in Boston! (I threw tea into the harbor — it's okay, it's all a part of the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, where they do a bit of a reenactment with audience participation.)

Hey, folks. Today I updated my Tales of The Myst stories in the Creative section and finished taking screenshots to illustrate it. Here are some of the shots that didn't make the story.
Danielle and Summer decided to take a trip to Sulani to enjoy some relaxation on the beach after a long week of writing and cooking.
Starting off with a little sunbathing. They haven't been able to work on their tans back in Tartosa because it's been nothing but cloudy, cloudy, and cloudy.
And then the girls met the absolutely adorable Nani Keahloa, who was totally smitten with Summer. The feeling was mutual as Summer was equally taken with Nani
I started a new save, wanting to play legacy style. I've made a mermaid sim long ago that I'm completely in love with, but I didn't want to play as her in the beginning, so I made a male sim, and planned on having them meet, fall in love and start a family down the line. Here goes the story of how my first day playing this save went:
Damien Gilmore lives in Willow Creek. He wants to work as a Tech Guru, but to advance in his career he needs a degree. Before he begins university, he decides to go to Sulani for a small weekend vacation. Here he meets Sirena Bahari. She immediately catches Damien's eye, and he tries to get to know her. They become friends, and flirt a little. The day Damien leaves Sulani, he kisses Sirena, and travels back home to Willow Creek. Damien misses Sirena, and obviously she misses him as well, because she invites him out on a date! They have an amazing time, and Damien takes her home to his tiny house. They light the candles, becomes a couple, and have a romantic first woohoo. Sirena has to go home, but comes to visit often, now that Damien has started university and can't come to Sulani. One day Sirena proposes to him, and Damien accepts! They woohoo, Sirena goes home, and Damien is very focused on his studies. The next time Sirena visits Damien, he notices a very big change. She's pregnant! He immediately asks Sirena to move in, and promise they will go live in Sulani as soon as he's done with his education and can afford it. She accepts! One day later Sirena gives birth to a beautiful baby boy, and they decide to name him Noa Gilmore. Very soon hereafter tragedy struck. Sirena dies of cardiac arrest, and Damien's pleas to the Grim Reaper fell on deaf ears.
Now Damien is a single father, studying computer science, struggling to get by. Worst of all? Sirena never got to tell Damien her biggest secret. She was supposed to wait until marriage, if she found a "normal" sim, to tell them she's a mermaid. Damien will get quite a shock when Noa ages up to a teen, and they go swimming together.
(I play with Adeepindigo's SimNation Travel mod, Lumpinou's Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul, and an autonomous proposal mod, which were the most prominent mods at play here - Damien couldn't afford to go visit Sirena, and I did not intend to get Sirena pregnant, but Damien didn't have any condoms on him, and Sirena herself asked him to marry her, without my control)
Because I had to disable neighbourhood stories again after needing to reinstall the game recently, I forgot that I'd not disabled them for the other households, so found more squatters in my homes... one of them I'm keeping in there since they've got newborn babies and nowhere else to go and the older kids know some of my own Sims. BUT! I also discovered Geoffrey Landgraab's raising six kids alone.
Nancy's dead - death by embarrassment. Malcolm's dead - death by freezing. I had no idea until just now and I'm so confused!
Who the mother is of the others, it doesn't say, so I'm assuming they're adopted. But omg.

Finally there have been naked joggers running around the Isle scaring the poor strays. I mean Marcus Flex is welcome to jog naked if he likes (hoo boy!) but sadly also Geoffrey Landgraab decided to jog naked too...and also do naked push ups (where is my eye bleach!?).

Finally there have been naked joggers running around the Isle scaring the poor strays. I mean Marcus Flex is welcome to jog naked if he likes (hoo boy!) but sadly also Geoffrey Landgraab decided to jog naked too...and also do naked push ups (where is my eye bleach!?).

Hi. I forgot to post here yesterday. Erik and Kayleigh are finally married. Like many RL weddings, it did not go off without a hitch, or two or three. But I was able to get pictures. And I have no clue as to why the Ring Bearer never showed up. Gave me the notice one hadn't been selected, when I had Erik go out of his way to secure the position. Face/palm. Also, Hayleigh did participate as a Bridesmaid, but for some reason Regina missed her cue and didn't walk down the aisle when directed. Neither did her father escort the Bride down the aisle. Face/palm. But the Flower Pal did a bang up job distributing petals. My biggest beef is that we have no way to direct the uncontrolled Sims to carry their bouquets. The only ones who did were the Maid of Honor (Erik's sister) and the Bride herself. But they both looked stunning.
Kayleigh nearly had a serious mishap with the knife when attempting to cut the cake with Erik. He stepped in and helped her. They never completed their slow dance, but they showed off at the Rehearsal Dinner, so it's all good. Got all the goals completed. The guests ate cake, danced, toasted and blew bubbles (safer for the birds than rice). A very brief honeymoon is next, followed by University.
My current project is designing hangouts for all my clubs. I say designing because I'm downloading lots and just renovating the interior. I really love the look of residential builds for community venues. Here's a look at my Art Center.
Today, I spent way too much time trying to find a castle. Most of them that I found were really nice, but they just didn't quite fit the bill. In the end, I placed the build I've been struggling with for the past several days. I think it made me appreciate where I was going with it. We'll see once I get the Sims moved in. That won't be for awhile yet. This is the residence Brianna and her fiancé will live in upon their wedding. Before that, however, is Uni. I can get them graduated in three Sim weeks. Currently, (when I finally got back to Erik & Kayleigh) I sent them to church on Sunday morning. (The reception went way into the night, it was nearly 4:30 AM when they all returned to the Cantrell House.) After the Starlight Accolades, Erik took Kayleigh on a date. The stayed in Del Sol Valley, so once again they were dining at the Red Dragon, where Erik popped the question. Full Circle. Once they got home, I decided to send them off for a very brief Honeymoon. Couldn't find the world listed among the vacation spots. Then it occurred to me it was two or three saves ago when I had placed a lot and made it a rental. Back to the Gallery I went. I got lucky this time. Found a really cute Island Hut/cabin. Placed it, made sure it had everything the couple would need, then set it to rental.
When I had him seek a vacation spot, voila, Sulani was available. Kayleigh spent the better part of the morning making various Sims leave (via MCCC Cheat). Once they were gone, she quickly locked the doors. Problem is, even though they are the household, neither one of them can come or go. Face/palm. I had to unlock the door. Finally, the two did some swimming together. The waterfall is fairly close to their rental. I was able (with difficulty, (Seems Kayleigh wants to watch TV all day. ) to get the two of them in the water. They swam around for a bit and made it over to the waterfall where they played in it and did other things a couple does on their honeymoon.
