Running out of ways to spend simoleons - Increase the simoleon cap or add more ways to spend $$

Do you think they will or should increase the simoleon cap from 9,999,9999 and perhaps create more expensive items to purchase? I feel like there should be something to spend it on as time goes on. What do you all think?

Maybe a casino where you win prizes or even a stock market that changes every few days

I used to build car lots in Sims 3 with expensive cars that my sims could purchase. It was a good way to splurge and reduce funds without cheating. That's one reason that I'm rooting for cars in TS4.

I like Carl's idea for paid classes and a tuition system.

I agree @IceyJ! Cars were a good way for wealthier Sims to spend money. I also love the stock market idea @bruceleroy98. More vacation spots or pricey recreational activities would also help. It would also be cool to have an option for some clubs to charge a weekly membership fee. There very quickly comes a point where there is simply nothing left to do with Simoleons.

Yes, someone has said it. For me, it's too easy to make a lot of money however there is not much to spend it on. I want more expensive things or the prices go up when a sim has a certain amount of money.

(not always sims related but I review and discuss television shows and movies. Foreign or not.)

I play on console and PC now! YAY!

They need to uptick prices on items in build mode or they need to create some decent gameplay that requires to spend money (they probably will not but anyway lol). Previous sims games had ways for you to spend extra money because it had more detailed gameplay ex. buying groceries, clothes, cars... etc. Tuition sounds like a good idea cuz it’ll at least put a dent in household funds.

Do you all think that they will add more ways to spend simoleons this year?

They did mentioned owning multiple homes in the latest survey. Let's hope for that...

I agree, I've literally reached this point a couple Sim weeks after getting a Degree. My Sim has almost all the best utility objects already. I think food and drinks should increase in price, especially the party portions. Even a lot of the Get Famous objects are quite cheap which goes against the theme of the pack. And university tuition fees barely make a dent in your Sim's funds.

    Time to buy a car

I do agree we need more things to buy with simoleons. I mean once you get the money tree, maxed painting skill for masterpieces, or maxed job promotions it’s done for. Everything you want in your house. Wonder if they could put in some kind of investment system. It’ll go along with owning multiple properties.

Despite my best efforts, they always end up with more money than they know what to do with. In my large household I had them burn money in the fireplace and also throw it around/make it rain. It's not good for anything else after a certain point. :D

Perhaps running a bigger business, like a hotel, resort, etc, increase the tuition fee, send kids to private schools, multiple houses ownership, luxury vacations, cars, helicopter, yatch, boat, ability to buy community lots (I always want my Sims to own a gallery/museum, hospital, etc), inheritance system, insurance, taxation & many more. So far, the Sims can invest if they're the Investor and also shrewd trait from wealthy aspiration. Perhaps, they can let anyone to start investing too.
