sims flocking around the restaurant rabbit hole?

A lot of sims seem to always crowd in front of the restaurant. Even though some of them are doing something such as socializing and eating, most of them are just standing there aimlessly. This results in other community lots to have fewer people. Does anyone experience this as well?

Sims in the played world visit different community venues based on how many places there are to go to in the world, the sims' traits, the time of day, the players preference for certain venues and where the active household/sim goes often etc.

If your sim visited the restaurant venue many times in a short period that could produce such an effect.

Try to visit another, but the same one venue, a couple of times in a short time period like every day for a sim week; and see if the townies follow suit.

It might also be something about the specific world too, like which venues it has and which ones etc. I do not recognize it from the picture, it would help if you told the name of it and perhaps list the venues in it. Maybe the world in question have many sims with Natural Cook trait

Deleting the cashes in Sims 3 folder is also recommended, to do first. And if the sims are stuck outside the restaurant a reset would be good. I see a sim thought bubble close to the ground, perhaps pointing to a sim being sunk underground. Reset the sim or change their outfit, in a wardrobe if necessary. If you have mods use them to reset. And trying in a newly created folder and save would tell if it is something the matter with the old one, a mod conflict or a mod effect, bad cc etc.

Bulldoze the lot too, if bulldozing the building does not keep the sims from flocking there again. (Save to library first, so you can place it again if wanted).
