I'm trying to reinstall the sims 3 I'm on world adventure but having this error help

Is this a disc based install and is the E drive an optical one (CD/DVD drive) on your system? The cyclic redundancy error usually indicates a bad, scratched, or dirty install disc or an optical drive that is malfunctioning.
