The Birthday Cake Race

Okay, now that I have your attention is it a race to put candles on a cake in your game? My sims just stand there for an hour (even while the butler just took a piece). Why is it such a challenge? Even in a one player household. Is it just a console thing?

Is the cake in the center of the counter/table? Sims won’t put candles or blow them out unless the cake takes center stage. That was an annoying feature I learned through trial and error :smile:
My first sim kids had miserable birthdays because I couldn’t figure out how to give them cake :neutral: lol
