This kind of thing happens now and then to almost everyone with an Origin install. The usual troubleshooting steps are to restart your computer a couple of times, to clear Origin's cache, and (if all else fails) to uninstall Origin "the hard way" and then reinstall. (The normal uninstall process doesn't remove all Origin's hidden files.)

Sometimes packs disappear because EA blocks access to them, usually because of bad codes bought from unauthorized third-party sellers. But if your packs tend to reappear eventually, it sounds like this isn't the case for you.

And no, EA probably isn't going to fix this. I'm sorry I don't have a solution or permanent workaround to suggest; maybe someone with an Origin install will be able to offer something better. But the Origin tie-in has been finicky ever since it was introduced. It's one reason so many of us go out of our way to avoid patch 1.69 entirely.

If you’re not attached to running it through origin, you could use a program like 3booter to bypass the launcher.

If the player purchased the game or at least one of their EP/SPs through Origin, or if it's a disc install and their base game disc was manufactured after Sept 2012, I do not think that is an option for them.
