Question About the Tray Folder

If I take out my current tray folder and replace it with an older one, will my library consist of everything that's in the old folder and vice versa? I want to put an old tray folder back in to see when I made a certain Sim, but I'm afraid that what I'm thinking of doing won't work and I'll lose whatever's in my library.

Yes, if you replace the tray with the old tray, it'll show the old stuff in your library and your new stuff will be in your new tray folder.

Update: I just put the old tray folder back in and unfortunately there was nothing in my library. :( I deleted the new tray folder that was made when the game opened, but it didn’t work.

Edit: I copied and pasted what was in the old tray to the new tray and that seemed to work. All is good now. :)
