Last night, I was downloading the new update for the Sims 4, and it got stuck at the finalizing page for 5-10 minutes. I thought it'd be better if I restarted my computer and tried again and when I did that, there were a few things being downloaded including the game and packs being repaired automatically. After those were done, I started up the game only to have it freeze right before the first loading screen every time. I tried repairing it a few more times, however the same issue kept happening. I would really appericiate it if any of you could help me solve thisissue. Thank you : )

Try shutting down your computer completely again. Restart the computer, log into origin and see if the issues remain.
If the issues remain, and if have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.
Repairing the game again may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair.
Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game
Try starting the game in windowed mode and see if that helps.
