Blurry Screenshots since July 31st patch

Yeah, the patch screwed something up as verified by SimsCommunity

Does anyone know if the patch will re-sharpen blurred screenshots, or only affect screenshots taken after the patch? I want to progress my Sims game, and I don't want to miss out on any good shots!

I don't think they can fix already taken screenshots as those are just png files on your hard drive.
