TOO Long To Retire A Sim

Is it just me, or is it taking a sim much longer to retire? Since the last 3 updates, it takes almost a week before a sim that is playable is ready to retire. By the time it happens .... I have finished a career or hobby or relationship story. Is anyone else have the same issue?

seems the same to me. I actually get retirement notices before my sims have completed their hobby or career. those should be completed before you retire a sim. if you retire them too early you may not get an heirloom when they retire. If you don''t complete relationships, you won't get the clothing rewards unless you have already completed all of the relationships ad are just doing them again.
