Cant take a vacation day

Hello, my Sim is a gardener with 12 days vacation but for some reason the option to "Take vacation Day" is NOT available to her. Any advice? Tahnks.

Is there an option to take PTO when you are asked if you want to work from home, an hour before work time? You can choose to take your vacation day there. It is the third option button.
