Wanted to play some sims tonight.
But when I opened Origin I found out I needed to download and install the entire game!!!
I am like What???!!!!! That takes forever!
Does anyone else had an issue like this?
Hello
I am sorry that you have had this issue occur
Have you got much free hard drive space on the drive where Sims 4 is installed? Lack of free drive space can cause issues.
When you go into your computers Control Panel > Programs, do you see The Sims 4 installed? The reason I ask is sometimes Origin has a hiccup and needs to scan the game folder again to recognize that the game is indeed installed. I've had this happen before. It's shouldn't take nearly that long. Hopefully, this is what you're experiencing.

Found out what happened.
But don't know how to solve it yet.
I have a second internal hard drive where my sims 4 was installed.
The whole driver just disappeared and that's why origin couldn't find my game.
I've downloaded and installed sims 4 on my first internal hard drive so I can play.
But now I need to find the issue with my computer. It can't be something sims or origin related.
But thanks for all the help!!!
I am sorry that you have had this issue Perhaps if you shut down your computer completely , then restarted it , the computer may then register that the drive is there.

A true shame, but the driver is dead...
Thank god I have enough space on my computer so I can just keep on gaming the sims!
