Having troubles updating

I think it may be my virus protection malwarebytes but not sure. I was trying install latest update for sims 4 which downloaded fine but then popped up error said couldn't install try again later so i closed Origin and went to retry but origin wanted to update and it to popped up and error and then it disappeared after that origin got uninstalled somehow.
I did reinstall origin again and it i guess updated and finished sims update too. But this is the second time that origin has uninstalled and i have had problems updating origin and games. I have added origin to my exclusions list already and it still happened.

Malwarebytes causes a lot of compatibility issues. I would recommend to look for an alternative. Also check if you have installed Sims on the correct disk. You might have accidentally installed it on a secondary one thus seeming like it disappeared.

Does the origin icon disappear from the desktop?
