Cats stuck on work surface

Constantly puking and pooping pets is one thing at a vet clinic, this is at least curable if you target that pet and treat it right away. But the biggest annoyance of all I've noticed in Cats and Dogs is cats getting stuck on work surfaces, and if you've hired vets then they will be stuck having been unable to examine that cat and they won't see any other patient until that cat is examined and cured by your own sim, and you can't examine cats whilst they're stuck on surfaces as you'll get the pathing error. The only way to get cats unstuck without using resetsim is to grab the counter they're on and move it. The cat will then teleport to some other surface like another counter or a fridge, but at least they can then get off it.
