From the rising popularity of gourmet coffee, I am surprised that there is no way of being an owner of a functional Coffee Shop/Roastery. Sure you can use the DO or GTW packs to work around it but that usually breaks immersion and does not have a satisfying feel to it. Below is a list of bullet points in which we can expand the potential career opportunities for coffee and coffee accessories.

-Doesn't need to be a full fledged expansion, maybe a game pack should suffice
-Develop on a coffee skill 1-10 (Including the making of coffee or coffee roasting)
-Coffee roasting can give off buffs/emotions like most crafting skills in the game
-It can either be an interactive career or based off the platform of DO, in which you can: Source raw beans from different regions of the world, roast coffee beans, make coffee (via espresso, pour overs, drip, etc.), talk to guest in the shop, and more.
-Even if the player is not career driven towards coffee, the personal use of the coffee skill may help benefit them to learn other skills faster or help aid in their career promotion (from emotional boosts) can help create synergy to the general Sims game play as a whole.
-the game pack can include minimalist build and CAS items as that is the current trends of most hipster coffee shops.

In conclusion, I believe that the aesthetics and immersion of one's passion for coffee that would make this pack worth wild. Additionally for non-coffee enthusiasts, the expansion of the coffee skill would put an extra layer of mirth on their sims playthroughs and/or help create lot builds with the minimalist aesthetic that can be simple yet refined, zen-like, and/or a functional feeling. One can only wish for this game pack to come true, but I am doing my part in at least giving it some exposure and so that if there are others that agree with me, that wish may become a reality.

>feels bad when not being a C O M F Y coffee shop/roastery owner in the Sims

Justice aspiration. It would have three sub-categories.

1. Systemic justice: These Sims want to uphold and enforce the rule of law for the safety and protection of all.

Goals: Join the police, lawyer, Secret Agent, or political careers. Install safety equipment on lots. Bust people who break the law. Help improve the environment. Patrol neighborhoods.

2. Super Hero: These Sims have great power and are ready to take up a great responsibility.

Goals: Acquire a non-human lifestate. Get into fights with evil, kleptomaniac, and mean sims. Visit patients at hospital. Teach children good morals. Patrol neighborhoods.

3. Social justice warrior: Become enemies with creative, geek, romantic, art lovers, bookworms, music lovers, bros, and family oriented sims. Vandalize art. Steal from sims with businesses. Break laws. The justifications are irrelevant.

for god's sake, please give us open neighborhoods. I know sims 4 was supposed to be a multiplayer game and that's why they aren't possible, so don't give me any rubbish about lag and whatnot because we should at least have the option to easily check out other lots. my sim never leaves the house when I play the sims 4. it's boring and kind of sad. @SimGuruFrost you're my best man, I know you care about the sims community. I'm sorry for the less than kind words but i'm aggravated and want this more than anything. I made this account to beg and plead for open neighborhoods!

A Time Travel Expansion Pack (especially to the past. I loved Into The Future, and found it really neat, but I'm a history nerd first and foremost)
A playable Woodwind/Brass Instrument (I've been waiting nearly TWENTY years, EA, and could have been fully 20 if I had began TS in 2000)
Unicorns/Horses
A Seasons Improvement (Automated holiday actions by sims, snow depth, blooming trees in the Spring, more rain effects, etc.)
Not really possible, but: Open the worlds back up.
Make the worlds have many more lots.

- I love animals so I would LOVE to see more animal additions to the sims 4 gameplay. I like the idea of having a farm or farm type animals (horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, bunnies, possibly llamas or alpacas etc.) and possibly more animals. I was super excited when the cats and dogs pack came out and I even got the pet stuff pack because they added hedgehogs with it and I have one in real life so I thought it would be fun to have one in game as well. Birds and other indoor domestic pets like turtles, snakes, hermit crabs, chinchillas, ferrets, sugar gliders, etc. would also be a fun addition. I know a lot of people who hobby farm and I want one in real life so it would be nice to have one in a sims game. Owning farm animals could also be good because of produce (cows and goats provide milk and you could make cheese and other stuff with it, sheep and llamas provide wool which would go nicely with the knitting/creating pack, chickens and ducks provide eggs, and most of the animals provide good meat if you're willing to do that to your animals). Owning horses could add other things like trail riding, performing in shows, etc. It could be a fun teen activity and kids could meet new friends this way.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^MY FAVORITE AND MOST PREFERED IDEA^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

-I know there's the flea market but this would be different. A farmer's market would be fun because you could take produce and jams and flowers, and other things to sell for a profit. This would also go nicely with the farm idea because you could bring eggs, milk, cheese, etc. that you get from farming.

- I also think there should be more time with a sim baby as a baby (the birthday comes too soon after the baby is born and if a player doesn't want a baby for such a long amount of time, then they can age it up with the age up option but I would prefer more time with a baby). I think there should be more options to interact with a sim baby like actually take it out of the crib and around the house or on a walk (with a stroller) or whatever. I love having sim babies but I wish there was more to do with them. For example, the sim parents can have a pack n play so they can bring the baby to the office or the living room or wherever and just have more options/spend more time with the baby while it's a baby.

- I like the idea of owning a vacation home or a second home because I have the island living expansion pack but I don't necessarily want to have a sim family living there full time. It would be fun to visit their island home for the summer and be able to head somewhere else at a later season. Or, we can go to the island in the winter time when it's snowy and cold.

- There should be teen specific hang outs because I want my teens to focus when they're at school rather than try to make friends but school time seems like the only time that my teens can make teen friends. I've tried having my teen go around and look at different places around the sim worlds but no other teens are out when I'm looking.

- I would like it if I could go on walks with my s/o or the whole family (including multiple dogs) rather than having to go by myself. Even if I was just able to take multiple dogs on a walk at one time would be nice. I like to have more than one dog in a lot of my sim families but making sure they get good exercise can get kind of difficult when my sims are busy with other things and all the dogs are begging to be taken on a walk. It's hard to find time to walk them with the other stuff my sims are doing because the time in the sims world passes by really fast.

- There should be summer camps for teens and children to go to that focuses on specific hobbies. Some kids go to math camp, science camp, basketball camp, volleyball camp, or even bible camp. There are a lot of options and there could even be a simple camp to go to for fun where you don't necessarily have to focus on one hobby over the summer. If there is a farming pack added in the future (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!) then there could be horse riding camps or other animal/farm related camps.

- I like the idea of being able to get pregnant on accident instead of having to try for a baby specifically. I know not all sim players would want their sim to get pregnant on accident from woohooing but I think it would add a little fun to the game. To make everyone happy, there could be an option to choose whether or not the sim can get pregnant on accident (like there's an option for if the sim can get pregnant or get others pregnant). I also think maybe teens can get pregnant (it's a real thing that happens in life so it would make the game a little more realistic).

- The last thing I can think of right now is adding more jobs options for the go to work pack. The current jobs are really fun to go to so I would love to see some more options that I can actively participate in and choose for my sim's career.

I have a lot of other ideas somewhere in my head but these are the main ones that I can think of at the moment. Extra animals is the thing that I would most prefer but I also really want my other ideas to be added to the game as well :)

*NPC Cows that produce milk for drinking/selling
*NPC Pigs to raise and sell

*Pie contests (for wanna-be chefs)
*New crops like corn and wheat

*Riverboat Casino location (not really country, but it'll fit)

Any other ideas???
Handicapped sims. Sims can be made blind or def. They can also be made with missing limbs. Some will even use wheelchairs. Some sims may become handicapped as a result of injury or disease. Or they could occur during age up.

This supplement would also include build items such as ramps, hand bars, small elevators, braille resources, home medical beds, specially constructed game controls, and many of the other inventions that help handicapped people in daily life. Character creation would include wheel chairs, prosthetic limbs, stumps, cane accessories, hearing aids, and more. Household services could nurses and rehab teachers. Necessary skills could be learned on rehab equipment that can be found in many gyms. Plays with the Cats and Dogs expansion can also add service animals to their household.

On a sidenote. People with mental illnesses may also be represented by this expansion. But I understand if Maxis doesn't want to open that particular can of worms.
I really would like the addition of wheelchairs!!!! of many colors and even old ones like victorian Wicker ones

Oh gosh ditto on the handicapped/disabled sims!!! It's shocking to me that such an inclusive game doesn't have any sort of options for disabled sims. Things like wheelchairs and crutches (chairs and crutches like the ones people actually use long-term not just the ones hospitals give out when you've injured yourself), prosthetics, hearing aids, seeing canes, oxygen tubes, etc. You could even have scales of expensive aids like a cheap basic wheelchair or a more expensive powered chair. Like Brian mentioned, you could combine with Cats and Dogs for service animals. I understand that this is a very complicated thing to implement and needs to be done carefully and thoughtfully but I think it could really really add to the gameplay. There is some cc for accessibility cas stuff which is nice but it is often buggy and isn't the same as having gameplay options.

A true inclusion of disabled sims would probably require all community lots to be updated to be accessible (so many of them have things like bathrooms on the second floor with no elevators and absolutely nowhere has ramps) but maybe you could even bring that into the gameplay like eco-lifestyle where your sims can get measures passed that require old buildings to get retrofitted to be accessible. You could add an "Accessible" lot trait that could give your disabled sims positive buffs or increase their movement speed.

I understand that the type of gameplay changes I'm proposing here are more similar in scale to an expansion pack but I really think that if at all possible it should be a base game update. It would suck so much for disabled simmers to have to pay extra to feel represented in-game while most everyone else can just have the base game.

Also imo this update Should Not be combined with a mental health update (which is by itself also probably a good thing). Discussions of mental disabilities often get brought up as a response to discussions of physical disabilities when really they should both be discussed as important topics without infringing on the other's space. I am worried that a combined physical and mental disability update would mean that the stuff for physically disabled sims gets overshadowed by the gameplay changes for mentally disabled sims or visa versa. It would be really sad to get an update with a bunch of gameplay for depression and dyslexia etc but just like one wheelchair and that's it. I'm hoping that makes sense, I've just seen it happen before with disability discussions and it sucks.

Anyways I know this would be a really large update and a huge undertaking for you guys but I think it would make a lot of people really happy and add a new interesting dimension to the game. It would likely take a long time to code (who knows maybe you're already working on it??), but July is disability pride month in the US and maybe you could aim for a July 2021 pride release???? idk just a thought.
