Move your Sims 4 folder to your Desktop. DO NOT DELETE IT! Next start up the game to see if will work. Please note that you will not see any of your saved games or Mods or CC. Next if the game starts up properly, create a new game and play for an hour to insure that there are no other issues. You can then move back your Saved games, CC and mods.
