I don't see why not cause chromebook is a google device
The problem is that a chromebook is running Chrome OS instead of Android OS.
So it would be like running an iOS game on a Mac computer which probably wouldn't work either even those such games just were made for another Apple OS.
I hope that they will make the game compatible with Kindle Fire tablets. Those run an operating system similar to Android, but are not compatible with Google Play store since they use the Amazon store instead.
Also, I wish someone would make an Android emulator for PC, since most PCs have nice big hard drives with lots of storage space, unlike most Android devices. Also, if they make this a "log in with Facebook" thing, maybe make it compatible with Facebook's GameRoom app for Windows 8/10?
I have been playing The Sims since 2001, when Livin Large came out. My avatar deliberately looks like Chris Roomies from TS1.
