I have the oddest bug with MC. If I try to get my sims to take a mud bath with the "floral hygiene clawfoot tub," the mud is white. I removed all of the mods/cc in my game, and there were no issues, but when I added in only mccc, I get this white mud issue. I have the most recent version of mccc, so I don't think it's a compatibility issue. Has anyone else had this bug? Can I do anything about it? Ultimately, I really like having mccc in my game, so this little bug is not going to make me uninstall it. If this isn't the right way to go about reporting a bug with mccc, let me know how to do it. I used to be pretty active on this forum a few years ago, so I just want to wave hi to anyone who might remember me
Never heard of this before, so could be everything. I'm pretty sure that this issue isn't caused by MCCC. There is no technical interference between MCCC and those objects. Also, we would have heard of that issue on Discord before. You might try to test again with deleting your localthumbcache.package after you removed your mods, or better, try a complete folder refresh.
Meanwhile, I will discuss this with the Deaderpool - but I guess I know the answer.
As a side note, tubs and showers are problematic since UL introduced the shower whoohoo option. We've seen several issues recently. In this context EA fixed the Bug of not filling Hygiene when showering in ShowerBath Combos by simply redoing the changes they made before. That means they removed the Options to take Mud Bath & Soak Baths. To be honest this was a rather lazy Fix unless they did it this way for a real Reason.

This has been reported on Answer HQ and they found it to be a problem with MCCC as well. You may want to talk to Deaderpool about this at the MCCC discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/AUJ8RAa

did you clear out your cache? and you can report bugs to their official discord
Statement from Deaderpool:
I see nothing at all in that report that indicates a MCCC issue. MCCC does nothing to the UI and nothing to graphical elements in interactions. Should be very easy for anyone to repeat, if it was an MCCC issue, and I've heard nothing similar to it at all. Sounds more like a game repair/clear cache sort of thing to me.
Bonxie: Great Skua, stercorarius skua. Meet me on Fair Isle.
@Bonxie@Bananas_45@llamasflu Thanks for the help. Aha!!! I had nothing in my cache folder, but in the cachestr folder, I deleted the file that said "spotlight_en-us.package." I have no idea what this file is, but it automatically regenerated. For some reason, the new file doesn't interfere with the mud bath. Thanks again!

Thank you @Bonxie, I was just going off what the Answer HQ indicated. I am glad that everything is resolved now!
Regarding today's Sims 4 patch (PC: 1.61.15.1020 / Mac: 1.61.15.1220)
are no issues with the current MCCC Version 6.6.3
There have been no errors posted after that EA update. It looks like mostly bug fixes so everything is working as expected. Deaderpool already confirmed functionality.
Please make sure, that you use the latest MCCC Version 6.6.3.
The older versions will certainly not work with the new patch.
For The Sims 4 legacy edition, MCCC v6.6.0 is the version you want.
Confused on story progression. Do unplayed sims get pregnant and marry in this mod by default or do I need to change a setting if so what setting. Basically do the random pregnancy and marriage cycles automatically happen from having mod in game and changing nothing
And if I have aging off for certain sims will they he included in the random pregnancy cycles?

Story progession is the basic motivation for MCCC, so yes, if you use the mod in your game your NPCs move, get married and pregnant.
Check the features in Computer:MCCC > MC Population and Computer:MCCC > MC Pregnancy to change particular settings of the stroy progression.
You have aging off for certain sims: did you flag them for no aging from the MCCC sims menu? So these are played sims? If so, they are usually bypassed (MCCC bypass played household settings are enabled by default). Unplayed sims will be a part of story progression as long as you don't change any MCCC settings.

Thank you Just flagged some unplayed townies (bella goth, the landgraabs basically the iconic ones) with MCC to not age so I presume they'll have kids in which I'll flag them to age when that happens.
I used MCC to Set Age Span Duration for each human life stage in an on-going save file. I don't understand what's going on here. Teen life stage should be 28 yet when my child sim ages up... Days till age up: 112

Jeff age span settings are based o. Normal lifespan. It you're playing on long, each stage will be four times longer.

Specifies the number of days at normal speed for an adult age span.
Short Lifespan divides this number by 2.
Long Lifespan multiplies by 4.
Maximum is 1000.
Did you set your game to use "long" lifespans in game options/gameplay? If so 4x28=112 << Works as designed.

Hello, I came to this thread for moving households into another house hold with the limit of sims per household to be 25. I want to make a condo complex and move every generated households in willow creek into this condo complex. However, when moving a household when there's 8 household members in the lot i'm moving a household into, I'm not able to move them in. Is there a way to move them in?
If someone else answered this question, you can just give me the link to the answer since this thread is tl;dr

In general it's not a good idea to increase the number of household members over 8 in the game. It's feasable in a technical way (same way you can make a car fly), but the game code is not writen for that situation and doesn't support it. Last Exception erros, game crashes and in the worst case the loss of your save game are the consequence. Better not do it. You have been warned.
If you have more than 8 Sims in a household, you cannot use the UI to manage households, nor can you enter CAS or your extra Sims will be deleted. This cannot be changed as it is hard-coded into the UI.
MCCC Setting Path (default: 8): Computer:MCCC > MCCC Settings < Gameplay Settings > Maximum Household Size
Depending on your household size, you may need to increase this setting to allow NPCs to visit or spawn in the world (EA default is 20). Computer:MCCC > MC Population > Other Settings > Maximum Sims In Zone
Adding Additional Sims
There are 3 ways to add Sims to your household:
Using testing cheats, shift-click on a Sim and select "Add to Household"
Use the MCCC sim_move console command
Use the Maintain Sim command (from the desired Sim): Sim:MCCC > Sim Commands > Maintain Sim > Move Sim
Entering CAS
To edit Sims in CAS, you must use the Modify in CAS command from MCCC (from the Sim you want to modify): Sim:MCCC > Sim Commands > Modify in CAS

MCCC v7.0.0 for Sims 4 game version 1.61.15 is out now!
Important Message from @Deaderpool:
"A lot of you may not know this but the mod developer, Scumbumbo, passed away last year. He was a big contributor to Sims 4 development and was a mentor, of sorts, to me as well. I always respected him and appreciated everything he did. He was a great teacher and had more patience than I could ever claim to have when dealing with people. In memory of all he did and was to me, I am naming the 7.0.0 version the Scumbumbo Memorial Release. Thanks for all you did!"
This release has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs, Jungle Adventures, Seasons, Get Famous, Strangeville, Island Living, Realm of Magic, University Living and the patch released February 4, 2020 - PC: 1.61.15.1020 / Mac: 1.61.15.1220.
Versions before this most likely won't work, so don’t be surprised if that’s the case!
The mod folder will look more or less like this after MCCC 7.0.0 installation/update:
✘ Check the CC and Mods in your game and use current versions only. Be careful when using outdated or orphaned DLC. If you get an orange error message referring to a Last Exception, the most probably reason is broken 3rd party stuff.
As proof of installation the welcome screen of MCCC 7.0.0 looks like this:
Attention: Because of compatibility issues MCCC will no longer load and run if the ArtURLwww Pregnancy Mega Mod (PMM) is in use in the same game. The players can still choose to use PMM if they wish. MCCC will just not work if it’s in use.
I had mccc for a while and loved it. However, one day it crashed and I got on the website which didn't help because it was all black. I deleted all of my mccc from my mods folder and checked the website again, but it was still black. I clicked on both links you suggested and the patreon doesn't load and the mccc one is black. Its been like this for atleast five months please help I miss this mod!
This is such a massive thread, so apologies if this has been discussed before.
I’ve been playing around with marriage/pregnancy settings and have the following setup:
Bypass played households for marriage
Enable played households for pregnancy
Now, despite having played households switched off for marriage, they still get married to townies if I have the pregnancy setting to include played households. If I switch off pregnancy, played sims won’t get married to townies.

Both Tumblr and Patreon work fine here. Maybe check another browser as well as any AV, ad blockers and/or settings relating to it. Might be somethings messing with it on your side.
