Anyone Having Trouble With Weddings?

I sent my two Sims to San Myshuno Park to get married. Only 3 of the guests showed up out of 15 (which I guess may be normal), but I've never had so few people. During the selection of hiring roles for caterer, etc. none of the people my Sims know came up to hire, so I selected to hire someone. Nobody showed up...not the caterer, entertainer, etc. I had my Sim click on the arch to get married, & it would show up in his queue and disappear. I'm thinking..what the plum is going on. So then I clicked on other Sim & had her click the arch...and it was grayed out with a message to the extent of 'it was inappropriate for them to get married'.
I don't play with any CC. Just the MC Mod, which is updated. I had a wedding pre-patch, & everything worked fine. Now post-patch, my weddings seem to be toast. Is anyone else having a problem with weddings?

Yes. Hired grey faces for NPC roles because no other option and no hired help ever showed-- this is new to the most recent patch. The disappearing marriage action has been happening for me for a long time; I have to start the interaction early and re-select it a dozen times before the couple actually goes through with the ceremony, which can take hours of Sim time. I've never seen the message of "inappropriate to get married," but have had several NPC guests die, which makes other Sims depressed and unable to perform romantic interactions.

Yeah, posted about similar issues in bugs the other day. The mixologist doesn't show up on my home lots either. The caterer does... but not at weddings... so that's inconsistent and weird.

Also had the same problem yesterday. No mixologist, caterer or entertainer showed up. Bride end up doing the cooking and Groom serving drinks. Still received gold for the wedding though.

I have the same problem, none of the sims the couple knows showed up on the hiring window. My first couple got married at Myshuno Park a couple days ago, the hired caterer, mixologist and entertainer did not show up at all! I tried another couple with a wedding at the lounge (where weddings had held and worked perfectly fine before the patch), again they could not hire sims they know, and only the caterer and mixologist showed up, the entertainer is nowhere to be found.

I've had the same problem yesterday. I was wondering why the people I hired didn't show up.

Me too (I've clicked the thread) - I had problems at Myshuno Park. When I hired help there were not pictures but it appeared the help was hired - then they didn't show up.
