Can't drag my guitar into personal inventory.

This was accidentally posted in the Sims 3 forum so I'm reposting here.
So my sim wanted to busk (CL EP) and to busk you need to have your instrument in your inventory. Problem is I can't seem to drag her guitar into her inventory and was wondering what to do? Thank you!

If you click on the guitar, do you have the option to "place in inventory"?

What does it do? Are you not able to pick up the guitar in live mode?

I'm having this same issue. Can't put it into my sims inventory and there's no 'put in inventory' option.

Is it a guitar that you purchased, or is it one that was already sitting on a lot? If you didn't purchase it, maybe that's why it won't let you place it in your inventory?

If your sim owns the guitar, try selling the guitar and buying a new one and see if that helps.
If you sim doesn't own the guitar, you need to have her buy one to use it. There are issues using the guitars if a sim doesn't own it.
