How to Reinstall Origin (for dummies aka me)

I don't know if there's another way to open TS4 on the computer but origin hasn't been opening for me. It will say it's opening but then immediately close itself down. I just tried to open the game directly but that didn't work either. I thought it may have just needed a day but it has been a couple days now.

My computer was recently updated to iOS10

Edit: I think it must be a problem with TS4 itself because TS3 works just fine, only TS4 won't open
Pop up says Finder cannot open TS4 because it is not not responding
Pop up "There is a problem with you game's setup. Please reinstall your game."
If anyone could walk me through reinstalling the game that would be greatly appreciated!

TS3 doesn't require Origin to run, TS4 does.

Try the Origin reset tool - https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

And Macs don't run iOS, they run macOS (iOS is the operating system on iPhones and iPads). If you've recently updated it is probably to Sierra 10.12

I tried that. the reset finished, the terms of agreement popped up i clicked agree and it shut down again! does anyone know what to do?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Origin itself. Take note of your sign in and password before deleting Origin however.
