I was having sooo much fun setting up my game yesterday that I forgot to take pictures Haha. I played the Capulets for a couple sim games. Caliban is a tech guru and Consort is a retired Business Tycoon (I think that's the highest level of management under business lol). Patrizio is the same as Consort but Victoria is in the criminal career. I changed her traits to evil, self absorbed and a snob. I'm excited to play them for a few sim days. I have the relationships between the adults of both households despising each other and the kids are befriending each other. Last night was the longest I have been able to play the sims in a long time so I was excited.

@AlwaysAsking So it seems Don has no idea that Thorne is spying on him. Does Thorne ever gets a sleep? And his own business? (I guess not when he needs to check Don in THAT action instead of actually doing it himself *blushing*.) I wonder whether Don will discover what Thorne is doing or not. And whether Thorne will seduce Don or not. Or whether Don will catch Thorne - actually whether Thorne will catch himself into his own web of... intrigues (if that's the right word).
If I understand right Thorne currently tries to find Don's know how and then he's going to use it against him. So I wonder whether his try will be succesful or whether he fell in love with him. I am not so sure Thorne is so irresistible Sorry not sorry Thorne!
As always I can't wait for another part. I really love it a lot.
Also I forgot that I just bought the university pack and I am soooooo happy that I made Tybalt a teen. My main focus with him is getting his skills up so he can go to university and I can dabble with it. I think I want to make Juliet an engineer kind of as an homage to her father lol. I definitely want her to go to university with Hermia, Romeo and Mercutio since they are all children.

Then she yelled at the mailwoman because "the bills you delivered were too high, how dare you!"
After which she beat up this woman named Josha, because "you visit this neighborhood suspiciously often for someone who has no business here!" While actually Josha is the best friend of Adria's neighbor and cousin Kaylin. 😂

I believe I cheated the ancient bloodline trait in, I'd have to look. It made canonical sense to me based on what we've seen from the Goths in past instalments, so I went with it.
Is it really 24 hours of anger? Y i k e s. I learnt my lesson from TS3: Generations and just started turning autonomous flirting off whenever I can, so I've never really had a serious mess in TS4. I remember one of my legacies in 3, my founder's best friend gave her flowers and her husband got so mad about it for like 5ever and it was just "So basically Sims are inherently insecure creatures? Gotcha." Flowers. That was it. That was all he did and Penny even rejected them. What the even.
One flirty joke, that's all it takes, and your romances are just so much harder, there's no fury like a Sim scorned and they do not forget. And somehow they know even when they shouldn't. Lol I even do it too, so I understand why people knock TS4's Sim personalities but they do things like that and... basically everything that is Morgyn Ember, and I just wonder... how this all works. Lol
I guess that's why I don't like the jealousy system in general, tbh, because it's intense and there's no way to curb its intensity. So even Sims that don't rock the boat or tend to have intense feelings, and Sims that would logically not experience jealousy at all, experience jealousy in the same way every other Sim does. There's no thought to it, there's no depth, it just exists and it's annoying and meaningless and yet still manages to impact your game-play to ridiculous levels. And you can't change it, so jealous Sims react the same way self-assured ones do and this makes zero sense.
Anyway, ah, I have Feelings about this Imma stop now lol
Um, I haven't switched households with that save, but I did go to Magic Realm with Bella a couple times and Morgyn was there when Bella was, so I guess that's nice lol he's not completely abandoning his duties as a Sage at least.

Here's a little update on what's been going on with him at the University.
He's been doing well, but few of his dorm mates haven't been so nice to him. He tried to be funny and told a funny story to this woman, but she didn't like it and Stanley got embarrassed.
He escaped to the bathroom to give himself a pep talk.
The next day he felt secure enough to call the cute girl that he had met earlier. He wanted to invite her to the dorm.
The cute girl, called Maya, seems to be shy and she didn't come upstairs at first, so Stanley went to meet her outside. He wanted to show Maya some photos (they're probably about his bike).
Later Maya agreed to come to visit upstairs and Stanley asked if he could take a photo of them together. She thought it was a great idea.
The same evening a celebrity, Brytani Cho, came to visit the dorm. Stanley was more than excited to meet her. He got an autograph.
He had a free day and he wanted to go to Oasis Springs pool to have fun. He invited Maya, but she was busy. He tried to invite his roommate, but as soon as they arrived to the pool he left. Poor Stanley was alone, but he didn't seem to mind.
Here he's thinking if he should become a lifeguard. He's studying psychology and he originally wanted to become a secret agent (diamond agent). I have a feeling that he will change his mind many times.
Eliza is still happy cleaning up after Bob maybe she loves him too much to worry about his bad habits, I also decided to see how playing her living at home to go back to college would go...yeah.
Cassie is happy to see Alex out of his room, their father can be so unfair, she misses when he was more loving, relaxed...more like Bella she wondered what happened.
"Good morning....Cassandra." Mortimer started childishly.
As he got in the bathroom Cassie got to Alex before he could let him get to him, reminding him she was heading out and so was he, he was so excited then. Mortimer didn't approve of any of his friends so he didn't get playmates outside of recess.
It's funny he arrived with his bike but uh yeah..
They were having quite a nice time though it was briefly soured by Clara asking where Mortimer was, refferring to him as...him anyhow Bella only said he was busy. He wasn't much for celebrating sim life he much preferred relaxing at home if he didn't have to go to work. Bella found herself keeping silent as he asked who he was, she guessed Eliza didn't say she was married and she wasn't going to say anything, it was a poisoned union in name only.
After spending a bit more time at the pool they woke up Alex to go get some ice cream, it was nice to get out of the heat, it was loud and bright and the pair stood out like a pair of sore thumbs...but the kids liked it so it was alright by them. Alex had to leave early as he had to go to drama club though it had been fun meeting the kids he didn't mind his mom's new friend either. She had let him kiss her and as timing went she had to rush away from him, food poisoning from ice cream and apple juice who would have thought. Mortimer was livid when she got home Bjorn had mentioned a off hand comment from his wife about her with some guy and his kids. Though he wouldn't accept there was anything to worry about he was playing that she was late coming home. His own pathetic ways aggravating him even more. Cassie stepped in though commenting on how she had to have his help with her homework since he was smarter than her teachers, while he was distracted she suggested Bella go lay down instead...she didn't look so well.
Bella could only think, thank the watcher for her child.

Adria got invited by her cousin Kaylee, to a meet-up at the Ancient Ruins in Windenburg during a heatwave, to have a water balloon fight. 😁
Kaylee invited cousins from both sides of the family (Zest & Lyon) and some friends from the Blue Velvet Comedy club too.
While the others were having a refreshing water balloon fight, Adria's attention soon drifted away when she saw a woman passing by who looked suspiciously much like her. Meaning, of course, time for Adria to yell at her.
"Don't you think you can get away with stealing my identity lady! And pfft, you're much to ooold to be me anyway!"
But I mean, she kind of had a point. They do look quite similar. 🤔
She then made a scene defending her identity, trying to convince everybody that "I am the true Adria, don't let this woman fool you!"
And while most sims present brushed that off as Adria trying to be funny, this young woman in the middle seemed genuinely confused about who was trying to steal whose identity. 😂
The next day the heat continued and Adria visited her cousins on her father's side of the family (Dough); Brandie and Gina.
She had a swim in their backyard pool together with Brandie. Screenshots like these make me wish it was summer where I'm at! 🥶
That was the last day of summer fun, however. Adria joined the criminal career, to pursue her public enemy aspiration.
Quite funny how even with that career, family members text to congratulate and express how "I think this will be great for you!". 😂
Same as when you ask a sim about their career and they simply go "oh nothing special, I'm a top-secret agent!".
Anyway, Adria apparently worked really hard. This is how she came home the second day:

Angela & Lilith had done homework & presentation, when first term started at 4.50pm this friday. There was one very big problem with that. Their exams is next friday and the term ends on thursday. Meaning both would fail in 2 subjects. I learned that it does matter what day in the week a term start. A term seems to start 2 days after I started to play them.
Luckilly, I had taken a back up of the Pleasant girls to my gallery before I started to play them.

Today's the day: Atlas and Dylan's wedding!
The boys are lookin' spick and spam in their tux. Looks like Dylan is ready to pop since he's in his third trimester.
They exchanged their vows and gave each other their rings before sealing with a kiss.
The mothers congratulated their sons.
Curtis came out to congratulate his son.

Carmelita got to feel the baby bump. They did this automatically, and it was so adorable to see this.
"Atlas, I want you to meet Don. He's the original Mob Boss of our family and your great-great-great-grandfather."
"It's nice to meet the descendent. Now I would explain to you about the mafia business, but we can deal with that later. We don't want to ruin your celebration."
Dylan then felt movement in the baby bump.

Darby and Larry got into a tussle which was so amusing and Larry won! Yay!
Olivia moved in with her sister for her final term and they threw a house party. Her sister had to show off her keg-stand skills.
Sabrina started seeing a cute guy she met at her party and managed to impress. They are really cute!
Olivia created her first utility bot and its a party-bot. Super cute and very useful.
@March306 Ah ok, I do remember your Dinklage family! I'd just forgotten where you were with them and Colby doesn't have as dominant Dinklage features as some of her siblings, so I didn't recognize who she was. Now I'm caught up and ready to see how the next generation goes!
@Keidra Thank you! I used this name for a rpg character ages ago and it's kind of my go to for boards and things because my real name was in the top ten in popularity for most of the 70s and 80s so it's never available without a long string of numerals.
It certainly looks like Morgyn is quite the flirt but doesn't like to be flirted with. I've had a couple of those in my game. Took forever to woo Pierce Delgato because he just did not reliably respond well to anything above a complement until the pink bar was close to 2/3 full.
It must be frustrating going back and forth between having some packs and not having them, especially when trying to have a sim choose a relationship. But I guess it's better than not being able to play those packs ever.
@AlwaysAsking I just thought it was funny that there were a ton of uni posts right after you posted about hoping there'd be a lull so you could catch up.
I have no idea what is up with Wolfie and dishes in my game, but he's always poofing into bat form to go pick some up and fly them back to the kitchen, even if they're outdoors in the sun. Between that and playing dolls with Charlotte, he's a weird vampire. He really likes sparring and dueling though. Cornelius is inheriting the dishes thing too, and he's the one I'm trying to raise to be evil, so I'm eventually going to have an evil master vampire who washes everyone's dishes.
And yes, I wish they'd come to my real house too!

At home after cooking the squeaking and...chattering grabbed her attention, she nearly dropped her plate seeing the little bundles, she looked up as a flash of light left a brief message in the air. From Morgyn, if you can take a hatchling these two should be fine. she could squeal better than flowers and chocolates at her door.

While they played, and after she actually bound them as her next two familiars she studied on vampires a bit before calling Morgyn she didn't really have to call him for lessons as he would find her but her enthusiasm was a breath of fresh air. Far too many were eager to just become powerful with as little work as possible he told her where to meet him. That she could help herself to some of the things she found, clearly implying he very much expected her to pick up something.

His little sample worked wonders though she was disappointed she might not get anymore she was pretty sure they could buy ingredients she was a little distracted at the market, what she doubted was whether she could make it or not. She decided to text Morgan and plan to meet her they could practice a little bit.
Tonya was surprised to see how worn out she looked, Morgan eventually smiled though after arguing with her mother all day she wasn't in much of a good mood.

So she set Julia on fire...lol she decided to call Morgyn since she needed more than a potion to recover.

He was pleased to see her resting he could tell magic had been used recently and he was glad to see things were going well, Dominic was so self absorbed and Moira was hopeless he thought Morgan needed better company on her journey and while he couldn't always be there but perhaps Tonya could. More 'ostentatious and done for show', and he wasn't exactly happy with them. Then, after getting disowned, he was more or less on his own. Now? He's got family again. He's with people who actually like him (and one who loves him)! It's nice

If I understand right Thorne currently tries to find Don's know how and then he's going to use it against him. So I wonder whether his try will be succesful or whether he fell in love with him. I am not so sure Thorne is so irresistible

Today she terrorized the neighborhood. First by attempting to convince any passerby of her conspiracy theories.

I believe I cheated the ancient bloodline trait in, I'd have to look. It made canonical sense to me based on what we've seen from the Goths in past instalments, so I went with it.
Is it really 24 hours of anger? Y i k e s. I learnt my lesson from TS3: Generations and just started turning autonomous flirting off whenever I can, so I've never really had a serious mess in TS4. I remember one of my legacies in 3, my founder's best friend gave her flowers and her husband got so mad about it for like 5ever and it was just "So basically Sims are inherently insecure creatures? Gotcha." Flowers. That was it. That was all he did and Penny even rejected them. What the even.
One flirty joke, that's all it takes, and your romances are just so much harder, there's no fury like a Sim scorned and they do not forget. And somehow they know even when they shouldn't. Lol I even do it too, so I understand why people knock TS4's Sim personalities but they do things like that and... basically everything that is Morgyn Ember, and I just wonder... how this all works. Lol
I guess that's why I don't like the jealousy system in general, tbh, because it's intense and there's no way to curb its intensity. So even Sims that don't rock the boat or tend to have intense feelings, and Sims that would logically not experience jealousy at all, experience jealousy in the same way every other Sim does. There's no thought to it, there's no depth, it just exists and it's annoying and meaningless and yet still manages to impact your game-play to ridiculous levels. And you can't change it, so jealous Sims react the same way self-assured ones do and this makes zero sense.
Anyway, ah, I have Feelings about this Imma stop now lol
Um, I haven't switched households with that save, but I did go to Magic Realm with Bella a couple times and Morgyn was there when Bella was, so I guess that's nice lol he's not completely abandoning his duties as a Sage at least.

Here's a little update on what's been going on with him at the University.
He's been doing well, but few of his dorm mates haven't been so nice to him. He tried to be funny and told a funny story to this woman, but she didn't like it and Stanley got embarrassed.
He escaped to the bathroom to give himself a pep talk.
The next day he felt secure enough to call the cute girl that he had met earlier. He wanted to invite her to the dorm.
The cute girl, called Maya, seems to be shy and she didn't come upstairs at first, so Stanley went to meet her outside. He wanted to show Maya some photos (they're probably about his bike).
Later Maya agreed to come to visit upstairs and Stanley asked if he could take a photo of them together. She thought it was a great idea.
The same evening a celebrity, Brytani Cho, came to visit the dorm. Stanley was more than excited to meet her. He got an autograph.
He had a free day and he wanted to go to Oasis Springs pool to have fun. He invited Maya, but she was busy. He tried to invite his roommate, but as soon as they arrived to the pool he left. Poor Stanley was alone, but he didn't seem to mind.
Here he's thinking if he should become a lifeguard. He's studying psychology and he originally wanted to become a secret agent (diamond agent). I have a feeling that he will change his mind many times.

Cassie is happy to see Alex out of his room, their father can be so unfair, she misses when he was more loving, relaxed...more like Bella she wondered what happened.
"Good morning....Cassandra." Mortimer started childishly.
As he got in the bathroom Cassie got to Alex before he could let him get to him, reminding him she was heading out and so was he, he was so excited then. Mortimer didn't approve of any of his friends so he didn't get playmates outside of recess.
It's funny he arrived with his bike but uh yeah..
They were having quite a nice time though it was briefly soured by Clara asking where Mortimer was, refferring to him as...him anyhow Bella only said he was busy. He wasn't much for celebrating sim life he much preferred relaxing at home if he didn't have to go to work. Bella found herself keeping silent as he asked who he was, she guessed Eliza didn't say she was married and she wasn't going to say anything, it was a poisoned union in name only.
After spending a bit more time at the pool they woke up Alex to go get some ice cream, it was nice to get out of the heat, it was loud and bright and the pair stood out like a pair of sore thumbs...but the kids liked it so it was alright by them. Alex had to leave early as he had to go to drama club though it had been fun meeting the kids he didn't mind his mom's new friend either. She had let him kiss her and as timing went she had to rush away from him, food poisoning from ice cream and apple juice who would have thought. Mortimer was livid when she got home Bjorn had mentioned a off hand comment from his wife about her with some guy and his kids. Though he wouldn't accept there was anything to worry about he was playing that she was late coming home. His own pathetic ways aggravating him even more. Cassie stepped in though commenting on how she had to have his help with her homework since he was smarter than her teachers, while he was distracted she suggested Bella go lay down instead...she didn't look so well.
Bella could only think, thank the watcher for her child.

While the others were having a refreshing water balloon fight, Adria's attention soon drifted away when she saw a woman passing by who looked suspiciously much like her. Meaning, of course, time for Adria to yell at her.
"Don't you think you can get away with stealing my identity lady! And pfft, you're much to ooold to be me anyway!"
But I mean, she kind of had a point. They do look quite similar. 🤔
She then made a scene defending her identity, trying to convince everybody that "I am the true Adria, don't let this woman fool you!"
And while most sims present brushed that off as Adria trying to be funny, this young woman in the middle seemed genuinely confused about who was trying to steal whose identity. 😂
The next day the heat continued and Adria visited her cousins on her father's side of the family (Dough); Brandie and Gina.
She had a swim in their backyard pool together with Brandie. Screenshots like these make me wish it was summer where I'm at! 🥶
That was the last day of summer fun, however. Adria joined the criminal career, to pursue her public enemy aspiration.
Quite funny how even with that career, family members text to congratulate and express how "I think this will be great for you!". 😂
Same as when you ask a sim about their career and they simply go "oh nothing special, I'm a top-secret agent!".

Angela & Lilith had done homework & presentation, when first term started at 4.50pm this friday. There was one very big problem with that. Their exams is next friday and the term ends on thursday. Meaning both would fail in 2 subjects. I learned that it does matter what day in the week a term start. A term seems to start 2 days after I started to play them.
Luckilly, I had taken a back up of the Pleasant girls to my gallery before I started to play them.

It was school pride day at Foxbury and Olivia was right in the middle of all the fun. She started off playing some ping-pong and even though she lost she still enjoyed herself.
Darby and Larry got into a tussle which was so amusing and Larry won! Yay!
Olivia moved in with her sister for her final term and they threw a house party. Her sister had to show off her keg-stand skills.
Sabrina started seeing a cute guy she met at her party and managed to impress. They are really cute!

@Keidra Thank you! I used this name for a rpg character ages ago and it's kind of my go to for boards and things because my real name was in the top ten in popularity for most of the 70s and 80s so it's never available without a long string of numerals.
It certainly looks like Morgyn is quite the flirt but doesn't like to be flirted with. I've had a couple of those in my game. Took forever to woo Pierce Delgato because he just did not reliably respond well to anything above a complement until the pink bar was close to 2/3 full.
It must be frustrating going back and forth between having some packs and not having them, especially when trying to have a sim choose a relationship. But I guess it's better than not being able to play those packs ever.
@AlwaysAsking I just thought it was funny that there were a ton of uni posts right after you posted about hoping there'd be a lull so you could catch up.
I have no idea what is up with Wolfie and dishes in my game, but he's always poofing into bat form to go pick some up and fly them back to the kitchen, even if they're outdoors in the sun. Between that and playing dolls with Charlotte, he's a weird vampire. He really likes sparring and dueling though. Cornelius is inheriting the dishes thing too, and he's the one I'm trying to raise to be evil, so I'm eventually going to have an evil master vampire who washes everyone's dishes.
And yes, I wish they'd come to my real house too!

"Hi Morgyn..." she batted her eye lashes at him, simple enough considering they weren't alone.

"My familiar Brucely he's just the cutest." Brucely snorted smoke and flew in a circle as if to say he completely agreed.
As he only smiled his friend gave him a dirty look, maybe jealous or tired of how dense the pretty boy could be.
At home after cooking the squeaking and...chattering grabbed her attention, she nearly dropped her plate seeing the little bundles, she looked up as a flash of light left a brief message in the air. From Morgyn, if you can take a hatchling these two should be fine. she could squeal better than flowers and chocolates at her door.

While they played, and after she actually bound them as her next two familiars she studied on vampires a bit before calling Morgyn she didn't really have to call him for lessons as he would find her but her enthusiasm was a breath of fresh air. Far too many were eager to just become powerful with as little work as possible he told her where to meet him. That she could help herself to some of the things she found, clearly implying he very much expected her to pick up something.

"Fishing..? Really?"
"A witch must learn to gather supplies even more than how to use them, they work together don't you think? You won't always meet others willing to share." he said simply.
"Yeah I get it..."
"I noticed you had some significant trouble there."
"I'm just not good at fishing."
"Or you're exhausted."
"I was hoping to move on to potions...thought it might be nice if I wasn't too tired to come see you." she offered.
He sighed.
"I'll show you one, but you really must do better."
One potion, something of a heal all, she was thrilled but ready for bed he was left surprised when she hugged him after receiving her sample."
"Thank you...oh and I didn't forget, I love Zee and Mana thanks for them too."
He 🐸🐸🐸🐸 his head as she released him though he was a little disappointed at the loss he was a little more confused on the names.
"...Zee and Mana...oh your familiars, I thought you would like them so you've named them already. "
"Of course, they aren't going anywhere!" she said excitedly, he chuckled and nodded glad she liked them.
"Now I want you to get some rest...and lead the young one on the right path." he said, she knew he wasn't talking about any of her pets, but one that shared his name instead.
"Yes sir." he found himself worried about her, Tonya, but he was no less proud of her.
His little sample worked wonders though she was disappointed she might not get anymore she was pretty sure they could buy ingredients she was a little distracted at the market, what she doubted was whether she could make it or not. She decided to text Morgan and plan to meet her they could practice a little bit.
Tonya was surprised to see how worn out she looked, Morgan eventually smiled though after arguing with her mother all day she wasn't in much of a good mood.
"Are you okay...?"
"I'm fine...just couldn't sleep...Prof Ember said I could do one spell like this."
She wondered how far ahead she was actually getting training before her, though she let it go because she trusted his judgement.
It wasn't lagging it was really as if they waited for Bjorn to move before starting...and she found she was right to trust Morgyn....cause Morgan beat her easily.
So she set Julia on fire...lol she decided to call Morgyn since she needed more than a potion to recover.

He was pleased to see her resting he could tell magic had been used recently and he was glad to see things were going well, Dominic was so self absorbed and Moira was hopeless he thought Morgan needed better company on her journey and while he couldn't always be there but perhaps Tonya could. If she was willing.
"I noticed another burnt sim Tonya."
she grinned.
"Hmmm I wonder how that happened." he chuckled, at least the sim would live.
"Ready for a lesson then?"
"I didn't call you for a lesson Morgyn."
He frowned.
"Then what did you need?" he asked scanning the area for a threat.
"Morgyn please...someone as pretty as you shouldn't be so dense."
His mouth fell, yes he could recognize light flirting but he was single for a reason, his detached ways and out of touch courting abilities..., simply put he didn't really assume it meant anything since he was alone. Despite who he was surrounded by.
She was pretty sure he figured it out quickly enough though..maybe.

On a more interpretive note, I imagine this was probably one of the nicer Winterfests Johnny's ever had? Like the Landgraabs wouldn't exactly have done cozy. More 'ostentatious and done for show', and he wasn't exactly happy with them. Then, after getting disowned, he was more or less on his own. Now? He's got family again. He's with people who actually like him (and one who loves him)! It's nice
