I do not know if this a bug or what?

When I save my Sims and go back in later I notice that somehow the time is not what I saved it at. Two of my Sims almost missed work when I saved them while they were off of work. This is very annoying and trying to figure how can this game be going forward when I am not playing it?

It's probably a bug, try to repair the game maybe. @rosemow may help a little better.

Hello.
The time when you load the game should be the same as when you saved and left the game.
Does this happen often or does it happen randomly?

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

It's been like that for awhile but never paid attention to it until now when my Sims was missing work.

I'm surprised that no has asked you if you're using mods yet... There is one possibility and it's caused by clock tuning.

Try starting a new save game, play for a little while, then save the game. Take a note of the time. Exit the game completely. Then load the game using the load button in the main screen ( the one with the floppy disk) and see if the same issue has occurred.

@Sasquatch_01, No I do not use mods or CC in my Sims games.

Rose I repaired the game and the time appears to be the same as I saved it at but both has also standing by the bed or outside when they was bed whenever they were saved.

I am glad that the time issue is fixed.

With the other issue , other simmers are also finding the same thing occurring that the sims are not always in the same position as when they saved the game.
