Try switching back to 32 bit mode and see if that helps.
Right click on The Sims 4 tile in Origin.
Select “Game Properties”
Change the “When launching this Game” setting to “The Sims 4 32-bit”
If after doing the above things the issue still continues, could you please post your DxDiag info here. It will take multiple posts.
To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, do this :
Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen

I've got the same issue. Used to work perfectly then suddenly i've been getting the pop up about being unable to run with the Video card in the system! I haven't been playing for monthes, and now due to an injury ii'm ordered to 4 weeks of bed rest so i really need my sims! I've trued everything posted in forums but no result! Go to the asus web search your make and model computer and update your drivers.
The GT 820m card is a low end card and under recommended requirements of a mid range gaming desktop. Laptops are weaker than desktop so you need a more powerful gaming laptop to equal a mid range gaming desktop. As the game adds more and more you will struggle on an 820m laptop card. Your processor is also weaker. There is no way to upgrade your laptop

I have never played with cc or mods and I dont have the game installed but you can ask @rosemow or @luthienrising which exact files to pull

Move your mods folder to the desktop. Start the game and a new mods folder will be generated. Exit the game. Then put back into the newly generated mods folder only the mods/cc that you would really like to have/need in the game, so as to lessen the pressure on your computer system.
Some mods put more pressure on your game when playing it.

@Chlolo, Your hardware does not meet any of the requirements for The Sims 4. You can add memory and upgrade your video card however your motherboard won't support the interfaces or data rates which are required for The Sims 4 or any of current titles to run smoothly.
i see you have 64 bit operating windows system installed:

now based on this and age of hardware im assuming the original operating system was XP and it was 32 bit but you bought a 64 bit windows key. sadly i dont think this system is worth adding more ram if possible so my best advice for you is to roll back your operating system or contact MS and see if they can give you windows 8 key your hardware isnt compatible for windows 10 and you should have stability issues running 64 bit on this computer.
as for running sims 4 - right now your biggest issue is operating system - once you get that fixed you can try the game on low settings, including laptop mode on, in windowed mode with all other programs turned off in the background via task manager - but there is a good chance it wont be up to the task since its under powered
you could if you have the budget simply set aside this system and look for a replacement. if this is an option let me know budget and i can assist, sorry for the bad news

Check that your graphics drivers are up to date.
Do you have cc/mods in your game? If you do, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if the issue is still there.
If you are playing on a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, do what is in this thread.

Go to the asus web search your make and model computer and update your drivers.
The GT 820m card is a low end card and under recommended requirements of a mid range gaming desktop. Laptops are weaker than desktop so you need a more powerful gaming laptop to equal a mid range gaming desktop. As the game adds more and more you will struggle on an 820m laptop card. Your processor is also weaker. There is no way to upgrade your laptop

If you are on a 64-bit version of Windows and would like to run the 32-bit version of The Sims 4, do the following:
Right click on The Sims 4 tile in Origin.
Select “Game Properties”
Change the “When launching this Game” setting to “The Sims 4 32-bit”
I have never played with cc or mods and I dont have the game installed but you can ask @rosemow or @luthienrising which exact files to pull
Move your mods folder to the desktop. Start the game and a new mods folder will be generated. Exit the game. Then put back into the newly generated mods folder only the mods/cc that you would really like to have/need in the game, so as to lessen the pressure on your computer system.
Some mods put more pressure on your game when playing it.

i see you have 64 bit operating windows system installed:

with just 2gb of ddr 2 ram:

now based on this and age of hardware im assuming the original operating system was XP and it was 32 bit but you bought a 64 bit windows key. sadly i dont think this system is worth adding more ram if possible so my best advice for you is to roll back your operating system or contact MS and see if they can give you windows 8 key your hardware isnt compatible for windows 10 and you should have stability issues running 64 bit on this computer.
as for running sims 4 - right now your biggest issue is operating system - once you get that fixed you can try the game on low settings, including laptop mode on, in windowed mode with all other programs turned off in the background via task manager - but there is a good chance it wont be up to the task since its under powered
you could if you have the budget simply set aside this system and look for a replacement. if this is an option let me know budget and i can assist, sorry for the bad news

To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, do this :
Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
Type dxdiag in the text field
Click OK
Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
Then copy and paste the information from where you saved it, to here in this thread.
