Since the game is supposedly being released in February for Mac, I wonder what kind of requirements the game will need to both run and then the requirements that will run the game smoothly. Anyone think they can crack a guess on the specs to run the game?

Maybe.
Maybe not.
I... Don't know honestly.
Maybe they're not even releasing it for Mac... "things change"
Not true. I would not play this on a Macbook Air or a Mac Mini. The Macbook Pro, iMac, and Mac Pro should all play it fine though.

I agree
I think the big deciding factor for Macs would be the graphics card/chip used. The newer Intel HD 5000 or Intel Iris graphics in current Macs should theoretically be supported, but of course there have been issues with the previous generations of Intel HD graphics. However, if you have a dedicated AMD or NVIDIA graphics chip, then I reckon you should definitely be able to support the Mac version.
Of course, all of this is speculation.
I hope this helps and keep simming,

Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) — 10.10 (Yosemite)
I don't know what's the lowest graphics Macs have but I think Intel HD Graphics 4000 or better
as for memory I don't know. about 1GB or 2? Windows Users how much does it take up on yours? it should be the same.
