The pictures in some people's signatures (including my own) are enlarged and taking up the entire signature, and when i went to change mine it said images not allowed?

Hello
You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a full member and can then change your profile pictures , post pictures, have a signature, start new threads, edit posts , post links that show up correctly, and have quotes appear in grey boxes , This thread explains about it. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/770609/member-or-new-member-everything-you-
You receive a point each time another simmer presses like or awesome or insightful on a post that you have posted.
You didn’t have the required points to become a full member, but you have the 50 points now,

How do I post a thread ?
I have severe game issues and needing help!
@XxN_MxX You posted your DxDiag in the Mac section a while back. If you are still playing on same laptop, it does not meet requirements to play this game. You would need another computer to play this game on that meets requirements. If you don't have another computer to play on you can post in the tech section and someone can help you with finding a new computer that meets requirements. Sorry for the bad news.
Hi, I created an account on here around the 15th November and I still can’t work out how to create a post I need advice on a laptop I’m thinking of buying and really want to create my own post rather than comment on someone else’s. Can someone please tell me how I do this?

Hello @JaneySimmer You are very welcome to post on the thread that you made the other post on.
When you have the 30 posts and 50 points you can then start new threads.
In order to be able to posts pictures and have an avatar, you first need to become a full member because as of right now you are considered a new member. New members are restricted to post pictures, links, have an avatar or change one, sending private messages to other members. In order to become a full member, you will need to have 50 points, 30 posts and an account older than 24 hours.
This link here will explain all you need to know on what it takes to become a full member. It also has a full list of badges that you can earn and how many points you get with those badges... http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/770609/member-or-new-member-everything-you-need-to-know/p1
Plus new members are unable to start new threads even if you could before. This was brought on by last years spambot attacks that took over the forums.
For any New members who what to get their post/point count up, the best thing that I would advise you to do is to find threads that may interest you and join in on them or go to the Off Topic section and join in on some of the word/story games over there. The posts made over in the forum section will go towards your post count whereas the posts made on your wall and the Activity Feed doesn't go towards the total post count. The only thing that you will get if you should make any post over on your wall or Activity Feed will be any Insightfuls, Likes or Awesomes as they will go towards your total points count. Hopefully creating your posts on other threads will also increase your points...
I just gained full member 2 days ago!!!!
Anyone like my profile pic, I made the dog in CAP?
The dog looks really cute
So, does anyone happen to know how to add a description on my profile?
I've seen people with mini bios or something at the top of their profile.

I've wanted to share photos of my sim but can't yet. :( At least now I know why.

On my profile it says I have the badge for 25 insightfuls, but I've only got 24 insightfuls. Is there any way to remove the badge from my profile? I don't want to have a badge that I'm not supposed to have.

@LiaRose1435, you also get Insightful's, Likes and Awesome's from posts that you make on your profile wall. It's possible that someone had given you the 25th Insightful and then changed it to something else which caused you to get the badge...
Can I open a discussion thread once im a full member?
Hello @FireEmblemFever
Yes, you can open a new discussion thread when you become a full member,
There is usually a blue new discussion button at the top right hand side of the screen in the forum sections. But new discussion threads have been restricted for new members. You are unable to start a new thread until you become a full member. This has been brought in as a result of spambots.
