After a long afternoon shopping with meadow, Constance had the basics in place. They never did decide if it might be a girl or a boy so they went neutral with all their purchases. Honestly, Constance was more concerned with how it would fit into her small house without getting in her the way, or whether it would clash than anything she already owned. She was so very grateful for the help but Meadow has such a sun shiney personality she was glad to be in the quiet of her own home.
hmmm. How long would it be that way? Babies cry all the time. Need attention all the time. She wants to be a good mom but she's still so bitter about how it all came to be.

Poor Constance, haha, I hope she warms to the idea soon! It's a good thing she's a got a friend to help her out!

(the 3ds version really is pretty - if you get it let me know, I'll add you ^^)

I know I have been posting a lots of updates but I had a TON of pics and I wanted to write it out while creative juices were flowing :-)

"AAAHHHHHH!" puff puff puff "You've got to be kidding me! I'm not ready!" Puff puff "AAAIIIIEEEEEE!"
    Screenshot-43_zpsf0d28880.jpg

Perhaps all that walking around with Meadow had done her in. Or maybe it was the massage , but Constance was definitely in labor. She rushed to the hospital. "There is no way I am having this baby on the bathroom floor!"
    Screenshot-44_zps88b072a8.jpg

She's not sure if it was a good idea, but she called Hal. It was his child after all. And much to her surprise he came!
    Screenshot-45_zpsb3c5b212.jpg

After MANY long, painful hours Constance walked out with a tiny girl she named Jane. Jane was a Clumsy Loner like her mother. "I wonder if she'll take after her father at all? I kinda hope not."
    Screenshot-46_zpsd18a5553.jpg

Right behind her came Hal with his own tiny bundle. Jane's evil twin Joan. Constance sped out of the parking lot so fast Hal had no idea what happened. How did he end up with a baby in his arms??!
    Screenshot-47_zpsdd10c357.jpg

Jane was sure to lock all the doors and gates. She new she was having a baby but she definitely hadn't planned on twins! And she just KNEW that there was something evil about Joan. "They'll be good for each other." She told herself to help ease the guilt of abandoning one of her children. "Hal is the father after all. I am NOT taking that baby back! Or HIM!"
    Screenshot-48_zps3aa00ed9.jpg

Hal, of course, was just as shocked as she. Him with a baby? What was he going to do with a baby?? He called and called and called Constance.
"She is your daughter. She is your responsibility!"
    Screenshot-50_zps568c09e8.jpg
"I don't know what to tell ya babe. How about 'Deal with it'?"
    Screenshot-49_zpsd101de04.jpg

(The twins were a total accident/surprise! I don't have the fertility treatment and she never watches TV or music so it was a total random happening. Like almost everything else that has happened. What I did to separate the twins was- I went into edit town and moved Hal in. Then promptly moved him and Joan out and into a more suitable home. I then had to use CTRL+SHIFT+C and housoldfunds <familyname> cheat to set their monies back where they were before I combined the households)

Your story is good, Vuneca. Good start, I like it a lot!

I wonder what are your secret plans concerning these twins... The second girl will have plenty of bad examples, growing up with the father...

Thanks Eliroc! That means a lot coming from a great story teller like your self. ;-)
I don't really have any secret plans. I am totally going with what ever the game throws at me. Though I do hope to get the girls reacquainted when they're older.

Raising a baby is hard. Raising a baby by yourself is especially hard. Raising a baby you weren't planning to have by yourself must be harder still.
    Screenshot-51_zpse4637559.jpg
Still, Constance new this small, fragile baby needed her. She wasn't going to totally mess up.
    Screenshot-52_zpscf9e72ef.jpg

She was on her computer trying to finish her latest book every chance she had.
    Screenshot-53_zpsac4376c2.jpg

Sometimes she slept on the couch downstairs because it was too hard trying to get rest while sharing her room with Jane.
    Screenshot-54_zps112d9d46.jpg

"Hey Meadow. Just checking in. Haven't heard from you in a while. Want to come see the baby? Call me when you get this message."
So much for having a friend to lean on...
    Screenshot-55_zpscca3353e.jpg

That baby sure could cry! All night long! Now she understood why new parents so often looked like zombies.
    Screenshot-56_zpsa730ab5a.jpg

She ended up down at the courthouse to settle things with Hal. She was officially given full custody of Jane and Hal had full custody of Joan.
    Screenshot-57_zps7ff7f4d5.jpg
"I wonder if he's having as hard a time as I am?" YAWN "Nah, he probably has some young girlfriend that just LOOOOVES babies over all the time" >:-(
    Screenshot-58_zps86605b00.jpg

Constance was getting stressed out! She desperately wanted her alone time back. Not only because that's how she preferred her life, but also because she had to provide for her child. She NEEDED to work. Yet the reason she needed to work so much was the same reason she didn't have time to work!
    Screenshot-59_zpsd664d512.jpg

Somehow they made it. Day by day. Week by week. She knew she wasn't the best mom in the world, but Jane seemed to being doing well enough. Still, her one year birthday totally snuck up on her. She didn't even buy a cake :-/

She sure looks evil in that last picture! (not this update, the one before) Knowing you you have some plan for the twins, so I'm with Eliroc - can't wait to see what's waiting for them  I hope Meadow is going to help her out, she looks like she desperately needs it! Poor Jane for not having cake :/ But I guess she's too young to appreciate it anyway :P

So, being as impatient as I apparently am, I decided to move my sim-me now, and build her a new house.

It's mostly empty right now so it might look a little too big, but that's how it is so far:

    Screenshot-917_zps17e243b3.jpg

    Screenshot-918_zps5a649eda.jpg

It was build on a pretty low budget so I'm surprised at how much I managed to get in before her money ran out :D I think I'll give her the writer career for now, just because it's costing too much to take pictures for the time being (one frame S22?? what is she shooting on, large format??) :/ She'll continually come back to it as her writing brings in more money ^^ And then, as soon as I could build a small nursery, she'll phone the orphanage :)

Apparently having a toddler isn't any easier than having a baby. She still cried all the time. Only now she had to be watched more closely since she was mobile.

"What am I going to do with you?"

Even when she had the time to work, she found it hard to concentrate.
    Screenshot-60_zpsb20a679a.jpg

She gave in and put some toys in her study. That way Jane could play happily and Constenc could work and keep an eye on her.
    Screenshot-9_zps91b77e17.jpg

It had been so long since she had seen Meadow. She rarely answered her phone anymore and her lights seemed to be on all night long. "Come on kiddo, let's go visit the neighbor!"
    Screenshot-11_zps7a10fe0e.jpg

"Don Lothario?! What are you doing answering Meadow's door?"
    Screenshot-13_zpsfdfc310f.jpg

"Hello Constance. Nice to see you. I won't be here long. I just stopped by to help."
    "Help? What do you mean?"
    Screenshot-15_zps2d820782.jpg

    "Well......"
    Screenshot-14_zps650f405f.jpg

"Hey girl. Sorry I haven't been around. As you can see I have my hands full now too."
"Don Lothario? You had Don Lothario's baby?! Why didn't you tell me?!"
"Well you know how things get and I didn't want to bother you. I am SO very happy though!"

Constance went through the motions of things she thought any good mother would do. Even if she didn't feel connected with Jane or would rather be writing.
    Screenshot-22_zps445adad7.jpg
    "You could be an artist."

    Screenshot-30_zps26535625.jpg
    "Yes, Mommy is not married......."
    Screenshot-32_zps16901cbe.jpg

Jane's growing curiosity was beginning to cause trouble...

Sharing a room was not easy. Constance tossed and turned all night. She had a deadline and her publisher was getting anxious.
    Screenshot_zpsf2c4da67.jpg

After nights like that it's ice cream for breakfast
    Screenshot-3_zpsedcd1c32.jpg

"Maybe if I can just get her to understand how much better off she'll be if she's independent" Constance thought.

"One day you'll grow up, get a job, and then move into your own house..."

Ok, I'm going to start it right now! I may "walk slowly", since I don't always have time (OMG I have 5 stories and 2 contests going on right now!!) but I feel soooo much like doing it

This is a challenge I wanted to create later on but, since you started, then... why not?

    Congrats on the twins
Jane is a little cutie. Hopefully it gets easier for Constance

The invite came as a complete surprise. "Hal is inviting me to his party? I haven't seen him since we were in court! I wonder what he wants."
Constance had no desire to see that man ever again. "It's his fault my life has been so hard!"
"Then again, It would give me a chance to snoop a little. See how little Joan is doing. I wonder if I should bring Jane?"
    Screenshot-11_zpsab1061d2.jpg

    "We're going to a party!"
    Screenshot-12_zps86109d10.jpg

Hal had bought himself a nice little home. Constance was surprised at how nice it looked from the outside. "It's nothing compared to mine, of course. I guess I should be happy for him though."
    Screenshot-13_zpse7fbb642.jpg
    Joan.
    Screenshot-14_zps0f6660c8.jpg

"Look at this house Hal! You don't even have a crib! Where does Joan sleep? Why is she out here in your dark, dirty garage? And why do you have so many women here?!"
    Screenshot-16_zpsdcc3779d.jpg

"Ugh! How long has she been in a dirty diaper? What is wrong with you? Can't you do anything right?"
    Screenshot-19_zps51cb64f8.jpg

"Let me make it up to you baby. How about I take you out sometime? I'll bring flowers, maybe a little wine....."
    "You are unbelievable. No!"
    Screenshot-21_zpsfa2d1ed6.jpg

"This is not what I had hoped for when I decided to come over here."
    Screenshot-23_zps0c6ff8bf.jpg

Hal never even noticed Jane planing alone in his living room

Constance had begun to notice that parenthood was wearing Meadow down and suggested they take the kids to the summer festival. Games, food, sunshine! It would be great for all of them
    Screenshot-27_zps78612d70.jpg
    Screenshot-28_zpsbb1a7475.jpg

Half the town seemed to have had the same idea. It's was almost like a spontaneous day care had popped up!
    Screenshot-30_zps94e09736.jpg

    "Let's see whatcha got!"
    Screenshot-31_zps6f2c7ebb.jpg

They didn't stay long but it sure was refreshing! Meadow confided in Constance about how tired she was. As well as how upset she was that Don had chosen not to move in with her to help raise their son. It was sad. Constance secretly felt pleased that someone else was going through the same things she was. Perhaps this could turn into another best selling novel? She had had a bit of writers block lately...
    Screenshot-33_zps66b35128.jpg

Again, Constance was so absorbed with herself she didn't notice the approach of Jane's birthday. That child was growing like a weed.
    Screenshot-34_zps6ebd06a8.jpg

Jane was obviously too big to continue sleeping in a crib, but Constance was not about to turn her office/study into a bedroom. They would just have to share. Man! Jane has some cold feet!
    Screenshot-35_zps7a138a14.jpg

"I wonder how long this is going to work? Oh well, I should get to work and THANKFULLY she will be starting school today!"
    Screenshot-37_zps8a074b76.jpg
    Screenshot-38_zpsb44f135d.jpg

The house was amazingly quite. Constance typed an entire book all in one sitting!
"This is how it's supposed to be!"
    Screenshot-39_zpsa427209b.jpg

"Meadow! I have had the most wonderful day! I finished my book and the publisher loved it! The Town Council even requested a signed copy!"
    Screenshot-41_zps0b509eb1.jpg
    Screenshot-40_zps397a7a87.jpg

Meanwhile, Jane was cutting class to play on the playground. She was looking for a place to hide so she wouldn't have to go home....

    Here my beginning:

My Sim is Loulou Wing  Sorry I chose it randomly... I almost didn't take it but... well, I always choose everything. This time I want to let the story goes by itself! :D So... Loulou Wing is her name.

Her traits are: Genius, Commitment Issues, Night Owl, Hot-Headed and Light Sleeper. (I gave only Genius and Commitment Issues, all other were random.)

I was going to tell her story but Loulou wants to tell herself, so...

I was born in a very rich family in Riverview. My father was a famous musician and this is what I wanted to be also. But, as many young rich girls of "good houses", I didn't care for nothing else than enjoying life.
    <img src="http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag30/Eliroc1/Loulou Wing/Screenshot-138_zps3f35f1f2.jpg&quot; width="400" height="320"></img>

I spent all summer wearing bikinis, either inside or around the pool. Sometimes with friends, sometimes by myself. In winter I either went skiing or travelled to a warm place. This was easy since we had houses everywhere...

My father gave me all music instruments I could ever wish. Although I liked the music, I just had other more interesting things to do then "just" practice... When my father insisted, I would play a bit, of course, around the pool, just as long as he stayed...
    <img src="http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag30/Eliroc1/Loulou Wing/Screenshot-141_zps7f38506f.jpg&quot; width="400" height="320"></img>

I would usually play the violin, his favorite instrument, or the guitar, the one I liked most. But since I did never practice I wasn't good in none of them.
    <img src="http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag30/Eliroc1/Loulou Wing/Screenshot-139_zps36e5e415.jpg&quot; width="400" height="320"></img>

I aged up to yound adult and decided to go to university. Suddenly my parents died, both together in a car accident. My life turn upside down, not only because I lost the two people I loved most, but also because I found out who my father really was. He spent his last years inside casinos, playing with our lives... and loosing. Instead of leaving a great fortune to me, as I expected, he left depts. One week after he died I had to leave my house, carrying only a small bagpack with a few pieces of clothing and personal items.
    <img src="http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag30/Eliroc1/Loulou Wing/Screenshot-142_zpsd668fa45.jpg&quot; width="400" height="320"></img>

I will never forget the day I crossed that gate, the day the gate of my own house closed behind me, leaving me outside. At that moment, I didn't realise what it really meant to be alone in the world, having nothing, not even a place to stay overnight. Everything I had was in my bagpack: a little money, a few pieces of clothing and a ring my mother gave to me, which I had to hide in order to keep it.
    <img src="http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag30/Eliroc1/Loulou Wing/Screenshot-144_zps0838581f.jpg&quot; width="400" height="320"></img>

I had no idea where to go. All my friends were gone. I missed the opportunity to go to university, to learn something I could use in my new life. I wasn't even able to play a music instrument well.
I had only one thing in my mind, I had to leave Riverview.
    <img src="http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag30/Eliroc1/Loulou Wing/Screenshot-145_zps3ac80551.jpg&quot; width="400" height="320"></img>

Ok, this was the introduction, narrated by Loulou herself. Let's see how she goes through life...

Vuneca: Oh I love your story. I feel a bit sorry for both mother and child. The kid just seems to be at the wrong time of her mother’s life, who just wanted to be a writer...
At least now she can have a little time to go on doing her work... who knows things are going better?..

ShaliANel (MischiefTheKitten): Great start with your Sim! Her goals are actually useful to get started. I don’t think it’s possible to sign up for both writing and photography at city hall, but would be great to do so! I don’t know why, it’s a simple white house but I can’t stop looking at it, I love it!

beckles123 - thanks for putting a link up for me. I was having trouble with pulling other peoples signature links up all day yesterday so I'm thinking it was my comp or connection, not you. I will go check out your story! The farthest I have ever gotten on a 100 baby challenge was somewhere in the mid 20s. Then my comp died and I Never felt like starting over..

ELIROC - I am starting to feel bad for Jane too but I'm trying to let the sims lead the story and Constance is very selfish! I'm so glad you're giving this a try, you're so creative!

Jane was forced to come home when she got hungry. There's no food at the playground after all. Constance was not pleased.
"Where have you been! You can't just wander around town all day! your principal called me, you skipped class! Why do you smell like a pigsty?? You will get your act together this instant! Clean yourself up and do your homework or NO DINNER!"

"Your idea of success isn't mine....."

After school the next day Jane went straight to Meadow's house.
"My mom says I have to come here after school so I won't get into trouble."

Meadow was very concerned about Jane's and Constance's relationship and decided to intervene. What kinds of things do youi have for her at home? Are you still shareing a room? Does she have her own space? Maybe if you baught her something appropriate for her age she wouldn't be so angry with you"

Thank goodness for Meadow's advice. Tempers around the house have cooled off a bit/

A tentative peace settled over the household. Jane kept her grades above failing and stayed quiet while Constance worked at her computer. Constance stopped nagging and nit picking Jane on the way she did things.

Jane kept herself entertained in a less destructive manner..

But there was no one there to comfort her when her imagination took control.

"Tell me what you want it to say!"

Constance set up shop and took notes as Meadow dictated about the life she wished she'd had with the father of her son, Titus.

ELIROC - I am starting to feel bad for Jane too but I'm trying to let the sims lead the story and Constance is very selfish! I'm so glad you're giving this a try, you're so creative!

Thank you so much, Vuneca! You're very creative yourself. The story is taking a direction, it's getting more and more captivating. The little Jane is suffering a lot without the attention and comprehention of her mother. I Wonder what is happening to her sister in the meantime...
