Invisible Gems

I have some gems on pedestals in my sim's home. On return from China, the gems are still on the pedestals, but, they are invisible. I cannot pick up the gems or move them off the pedestals. Any suggestions for making them visible. I reloaded the game several times hoping the glitch would go away. Thanks for any help.

you could get nraas debug mod which should 'unbug' the gems. Alterantlivly you could move your sims out and back in again and that may reset the gems
