Generation One
I started The Scott's as a test family for Seasons, but they turned into my very first Legacy Family.
Straight from the bat, it was clear Sunset Valley had changed dramatically.
Holli and Byron were soon sent out so I could experience the weather myself.
I sent them back home, and they did find a few things to occupy themselves with.
Like diamonds in the sky! Though I don't think these were the ones Rihanna meant.
The space shuttle is very cool.
After her first day at work, Holli decided to relax at the beach.
But that was soon cut short.
She picked a flower on her way home, and the sky looked particularly beautiful.
The flowers look lovely in a vase.
I just love her face here.
He isn't Beckham.
Leisure Day was fun.
That Judy Bunch has a mean streak, though it was really funny when Holli actually knocked her on the ground with a balloon. I didn't get a picture unfortunately.
Thunder storms on a full moon are perfect!
It seems Holli and Judy are becoming good friends...
I think Holli is just so pretty.
Autumn arrived in Sunset Valley!
Time for warm PJs.
Seeing the town covered in frost for the first time was a actually a bit of a shock (in a good way).
Fall Festival!

I think it's great that we got both Feast and Costume parties, I decided to have a Feast party and save the Costume party for next year when they have kids. I didn't get any trick-or-treaters sadly though.

Winter finally came! My very first snowfall, I was in awe.
Enjoying seasonal activities.

Holli joined him at the Winter festival after work.
It was time! He had had the wish for a while, such a gorgeous proposal. The wedding is set for Spring.
Also followed by some igloo fun.

Snowflake Day is here! I really think they did a wonderful job with this, other than the actual weather it's one of my favourite features of the game. Look! Some Mistletoe.

How cute! I wish we could bake gingerbread men too.
Time for the gift giving party. I invited the neighbours The Keatons.
Christmas dinner. (Which was hot wings.)
They ended the night with a snowball fight.

Can't wait for Spring now!
A sign that winter is ending.
Holli was invited to the Keaton's party.
I noticed Holli had put a little weight on, and Byron who is a fitness buff was now able to train other Sims. So he gave her a little encouragement, gotta get in shape for the wedding.
Love day morning was spent in bed.
Aww.
Some daisy's sprung up outside the house, which Holli picked. A sure sign that Spring is here.
Byron, who is a chef, made mushroom omelettes for Love Day breakfast.
A slow dance to Rita Ora.
The Love Tester - they got the highest possible score! I believe it was called Hot Stuff.
Holli decided to man the kissing booth...
But not just for anyone.
They tried out the horseshoe throw.
And uh oh! What is up with Holli?
How cute!
A picnic to end Love Day.
Holli announced the pregnancy to Byron.
His response? A thumbs up.
She decided she could still work out, even though she is pregnant.
And finished off with a bubble bath.
Finally the wedding came! A beautiful Spring wedding (I disabled rain and snow just to be on the safe side for this day)
Exchanging vows and the rings. This is the first time I've ever had a pregnant Sim get married.

Welcome to the world baby Summer! Her name seemed fitting since she was born in that season, I gave her the trait Loves the Heat like her Mom.
Holli rolled the wish to quit her job as a High School teacher as soon as Summer was born, so I obliqued.
She went for a massage at the salon after the tribulation of child birth.
While Byron got in some bonding with his daughter.
Summer's 1st Birthday party rolled around.
I think she is so cute as a toddler.

Holli arranged the Pool Party, while Byron went out to buy fireworks.

Getting a place at the table was a bit of a struggle.
Next everyone congregated to the pool.
Aw, poor Summer was practically ignored and had to find her own entertainment. Next year she should be old enough to enjoy it more.

He then had a look on the computer for any pets up for adoption in the neighbourhood.

Byron went to the Pet Store to get some supplies.

I thought it was time we started building Summer's skills. Learning to talk - I don't know what Holli is telling her daughter here.
I remember when we used to need a Mod for lighting like this.

Byron had to work overtime, so Holli was left alone with Summer.

And we did get zombies. But not just one...

Summer was so excited she decided to hold a Royal Court!

Byron is really getting high-up in the culinary career and his cooking skill now.

Holli started to feel ill! She was sneazing here, but she looks like she's crying.

Byron took Summer to the Haunted House.
She was frightened. She got a moodlet about being touched by a ghost or something.
She did win this spiffy Witch gnome though! It played some pretty spooky music when I placed it.
Trick or treat time! Summer had to go with her Dad as she doesn't know too many other kids in the neighbourhood yet. Love these costumes.
She only managed to get to one house. She did get one pack of sweets though.
When she got home she checked under her bed for monsters.
The next day Summer got ill, and the school called to say she didn't have to go in! Lucky, on a day like this.
She baked muffins.
Had a pillow fight with Mom.
Watched TV.
Had a nap.
Then had a dance. Looks like she's recovering.
Autumn's first Birthday!

Snowflake Day Eve. Holli went Christmas shopping to the Consignment Store with Autumn. A stroll in the snow is gorgeous.
Summer brought home a friend from school, they had some fun in the snow.
Holli read a romance novel called Winter Romance or something similar, fititng for Christmas Eve I think.
And Byron aged into an Adult! Not bad.
The girls were tucked up in bed early, ready for Santa to come soon...

The day after Snowflake Day was a snowday! I was very happy, as was Summer. She spent the morning playing with her new rocking horse.

Byron has reach the top of the culinary career and received a snazzy new fridge as a reward.

Summer got ready, for her very first date!
She went to the arcade (created by the great CK!) with him and tested the love tester machine. It told them to get a room.
She also had her first kiss.
And asked him to the prom.
Took a picture as a memento.
Had a contest on the hoops machine.
And even had a makeout session.
She proudly hung the picture on her bedroom wall. Prom is in two days.

Holli decided to join the daycare career! She has the nurturing trait, did a great job with Summer and Autumn and had experience from working in the education career. It seemed a natural fit.
Summer has became besotted with Dexter, after their date the other day. She sent him a love letter and called him before school.
Autumn had a submarine adventure in the bath.
Byron took Max for a walk.
It's Prom Night! Holli checked she was lookin' fly.
Across town, Byron finally mastered the Athletic skill.
On her way to prom, and it's raining!
Dexter had the right idea.

Holli and Autumn had a quiet night at home, she read her to sleep. (they went to Summer's bed, I like to think they were missing her)
Byron treated himself to some sauna time, after all of that hard work.
Summer had a great night! She won Prom Queen, and Dexter asked her to go steady with him. She told her Mom all about it.
I got really excited because I heard the noise and saw the lights! But I waited and waited and no sign of an alien.
Holli has two regular kids who she's getting close to, she's having a blast teaching them their skills. I think she's broody...

And Byron made a family meal.

Summer and Autumn had a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Autumn won!
Summer wasn't too pleased.
She finished off her homework.
Byron went to check out his new workplace - The Blooming Cactus Bistro. Luckily he could transfer straight to Level 10 in the cooking career where he was in Sunset Valley. It's certainly fancier than Hogan's Deep Fried Diner!

Monday morning. A family breakfast before school and work.
On the schoolbus. Summer: "We're gonna be the prettiest girls in the school."
Holli and Byron had an embrace in the kitchen...
Just as the parents came to drop off the kids for Holli to look after. Awkward!
She soon got into her duties.
Byron doesn't start work until about 3 so I usually send him to the gym out of the way.
Autumn had a Work Experience Opportunity after school so she went there. Summer came home to screaming brats!
She soon chipped in though, she looks like a natural.
She then escaped for some quit time outside with a book.
Byron and Holli headed out to the Casino where Byron sometimes cooks, I wanted to test out the new Grill.
Not impressed.

She went to use the slots while he was prepping dinner.
"Darn you!"
"YAY!"
And they finally got their meal.
Byron has been staying home to help Holli with her daycare since she now has to look after 3 kids. I couldn't imagine coping with toddlers! I don't even think I've had twins before.
The girls have each gotten a part-time job and signed up for an afterschool activity. Summer attends Drama club and works in the Day Spa, Autumn is on the school newspaper and works in the bookstore.
Doing homework together like good teens!
The parents came to pick the kids up...
But one parent said he had to work late so would be a few hours late. Holli tried to help him with his skills while he waited for his Dad.
The romance will never die between these two, still one of the cutest couples I've seen.

Summer and Autumn immediately started enthusing about their new house.

But Holli and Dexter went to the dining table. Gonna have to fix that!

Autumn set up an online dating profile. Hopefully we can find her a Mediterranean hottie.
Summer had a quick change, ready for a night out with Dexter.
They went to the Pizzeria.

But it didn't put Dexter off!
Back home, Dexter asked Byron for Summer's hand in marriage. A bit too late, I know, but he said he would love to have him as a Son-in-Law.
Summer told Holli, she seemed pleased!
Dexter started his first day of work, he's employed in the military with ambitions of becoming an astronaut.
Autumn checked her dating profile... no messages yet.
And then got off to work, she's a journalist.
Byron decided it was finally time to retire. The moment just felt right.

Summer led Champ to his stall, out of the rain.
Byron hasn't lost his athletic skill in his old age!
Autumn checked her messages, and she seemed to be getting a lot of attention!

Summer joined them at the festival, and they competed in an Apple Bobbing Contest.
Holli won, she went to redeem some of her festival tickets. She got a scarecrow.
Autumn recognised the concession stand guy from the dating website! He told her he's a male model. Get in girl.
Dexter harvested a few pumpkins for Spooky Day.

Summer picked a beautiful flower.
On his way to work, Dexter spotted a very special Sim. He went over to chat.
While at the festival, they took a family portrait.

Byron and Autumn started early in the day!
Summer spent some more time with her new arrival.
When Byron and Autumn started drinking, it reminded me I wanted to check out my Nectary. So I sent Holli and Byron there for the afternoon.
After work, Autumn made plans with one of the guys off of the dating site. Summer, of course, had to help style her.
Autumn was not thrilled with Summer's input.
Autumn: "It's way too low." Summer: "You want a second date, don't you?"
Heading out to the Pub!
She met him there. Meh.
Now look at the bartender... That's more like it.
Autumn paid for the drinks.
And danced alone.
She had had enough!
When she got home she told Summer all about the fail of a date. And about the charming bartender.
I think there's something funny between Autumn and Dexter. Remember when they were teens and Dexter was checking her out? I've seen quite a few lingering stares between the two. Maybe one day I will allow something to come of it...
Oblivious Summer got Champ up.
Then she and Holli went to the Farmer's Market.
Holli: "Do you think that's a hint?" Summer: "Maybe, I hope I see mermaids in my lifespan."
Summer went to buy a few items, and...

She quickly finished up her purchase.
Then introduced herself.
He would be perfect for Autumn. But, alas, he was not single.
Holli bought a couple of things.
Autumn went to the festival again and had a chat with the model. She is definitely keeping her options open. :P
Even Dexter has taken a liking to Champ.
He carved up a pumpkin, it was Spooky Day after all.
I really wanted some trick-or-treaters but I didn't get any.
Suddenly, I heard some music I had never heard before. And it led me to this scene.

Dexter tried to comfort Summer.
Then he just had to express his anger and sadness.
Autumn was a Circa du Soleil Performer.
Champ aged up to an adult!
Holli was a doctor.
Byron was a hotdog.
And Dexter was a tiger, but he changed outfit for some reason. :? His alien friend came!

Summer finally got round to planting her seeds and setting up her greenhouse.
She then cleaned Champ's hooves and took him for their first ride!

Max came back as a ghost! I moved his gravestone to the Cemetery to make him more at peace.
Snowflake Day Eve! Summer primped Champ ready for the holidays.
And harvested some vegetables for the dinner tomorrow.
Autumn's man Camillo moved in! Very nice for an EA-made Sim.
Summer and Dexter both rolled the wish to have a baby. So, of course I had to oblige.
Oh my!
It's Snowflake Day! Byron and Holli are still the cutest couple I have seen.
Byron made a big family breakfast.
"Oh looks what's here! Might as well take advantage of it."
Summer and Dexter had a skate on the frozen-over pond.
Then proceeded to have an igloo woohoo!
Camillo decided it was time to make it official and got down on one knee to pop the question to Autumn!
And then, because you know I like to do this backwards, asked Byron for his daughter's hand in marriage.
Gift opening time! Summer changed into her pregnancy dress during the middle of this. :roll:
I proceeded to make Summer eat three apples. We are getting a boy. :thumbup:

Autumn and Camillo decided they wanted to move into their own place. I found them a beautiful house in the walled-in part of the city.

I made sure to make Summer hug her dad one last time, because I knew what was coming next.
Summer is heartbroken.
She made Country Bread just like Byron used to make.
Autumn and Summer had a little cry together.
They all gathered together for some of the bread.
Then Summer played a song on the piano, just like Holli used to.
Even little TJ was sad.
Afterwards, Summer went to the cemetery to place their graves. She put them together, with Max the dog's in between them.
On a lighter note, TJ became a child.
I sent Summer and TJ to the Farmer's Market to cheer them up! TJ went to man the lemonade stand.
He sold his Mom a drink.
Summer went over to sell some of her produce on one of the stands.
TJ got some honey. :P

This is Autumn and Camillo's house.
Autumn is pregnant!

I just love having big families.
I'm glad Summer and Autumn are still close as adults.

Summer and Dexter had some fun in the stable... I hope Champ wasn't in. :P
TJ aged up to a teen! And very nicely, I must say.
Carlo was one of the cutest toddlers I've seen!
And now he's a child.
Dexter took TJ to the gym to train him.

Mysterious Mr Gnome must have died, because this is his grave. I didn't know they even could.
Carlo became a teen!
TJ found a huge space rock which was worth quite a bit.
Summer and Dexter won a free vacation so TJ was left to his own devices. Teen Party!
But Summer and Dexter came back early and caught him. So he got grounded.
He got his own back by playing a prank with the sink.
Summer has now completed her Lifetime Wish - Renaissance Sim (complete 3 skills). She has mastered the Riding, Gardening and Cooking Skills.
Dexter has also achived his lifetime wish of reaching the top of the Military Career and becoming an Astronaut. Dexter and TJ having a race on the treadmills.
Snowflake Day is here! They headed to the Winter Festival.
Monte Vista is so beautiful in the snow.
TJ and Terry stole a kiss under the mistletoe.
Terry stayed for the Gift Giving Party, and Autumn, Camillo and Carlo showed up.
TJ made a snow angel outside.
And Summer and Dexter made a snowman.
TJ aged up to a YA!
He graduated Valedictorian and Most Likely to Complete his Lifetime Wish. The future is bright for this young acrobat!
Dad gave him a graduation gift.
A brand new sports car!
Very sad business. Champ passed on.
Summer was heart-broken.
