@igazor thank you for the answer! I have nothing against mods and I do use NRaas, altough I don't know which mod exactly would help me. What do you think about this one?

The mod is called MasterController. It comes with four optional add-on modules, you would also need the one called MC Cheats.
(scroll down a bit to see the add-on modules)

Once you have the MC base mod and the MC Cheats module installed (you need both), the command is
    NRaas > MC > (Sim) > Advanced > Books > Alchemy Recipes

This isn't going to fix the broken reading of the recipes commands, it's going to grant "credit" for knowing the recipes you select that the sim has apparently lost knowledge of. If nothing shows up for them to learn, and they still cannot learn them by reading, then I'm afraid this sim is broken.

AntiMagicScroll is a mod with no commands or options. What it does is prevent recipe books and musical compositions from disappearing in an on-screen poof once they have been read so that other sims can then also learn from them and thus the same household doesn't need to keep buying the same recipes and compositions over and over, and they can gift them to their friends if you want. Afraid I don't see how it can really help with this particular issue, though.
    NRaas has moved!

Thanks, it does work! I was just a little confused that I don't need to type anything, just pick the given recipe and click "Accept", but everything's working now! :)
