A while back I stumbled across your "Lonely Island" on mediafire. I'm so intrigued by this world ... mainly because it is a SMALL file, it's a deserted island (who wouldn't want to experience living on one of those? ) and since my computer is old and slow, I thought I could play it without all the lagging and freezing I'm getting lately. (I'm LIVING to upgrade my computer!!) lol
I tried to find "Lonely Island" on this site, but was unsuccessful. I'd like to read about it and see what, if anything I need to do BEFORE I install it. I downloaded the version on Mediafire, I hope that was ok with you? Since Sims3, I've only added game content with the launcher, so I'm clueless, but I just LOVE the way this island looks in the pictures!
Hope I'm not asking too much ... but I LOVE the concept of Lonely Island! AND... I think it would run great for me!
Also, Glendale City looks absolutely AMAZING!! So logically laid-out! If I ever get to update my computer, this is one world I'm definitely going to download!! I agree with Writin_Reg ... you have a true talent in making worlds! The pictures are incredible! I wish I had a FAST computer so I could play it!! Maybe one day soon. *sigh*

You don't need to do anything before installation. It is base game and very forgiving.
There are only three 64x64 lots. Bulldoze them and you have three bigger areas to utilise properly.
If you use 10x10 lots where possible and rabbithole rugs for any community lots you want kept, you can have a good little game.
The two closest 64x64 areas (right side of picture) are separated by the mountain making it impassible for your Simmies, so use the left side of the island as your community's centre point.
And again a new World (thx to my very creative days at the moment )

Thank you so much for making this thread, Mr. Crumplebottom. I have something to suggest to make it even better. I know it might be asking a lot, but I think it might help a lot of people- if you seperate how the worlds are layed out even further. Besides just laying it out through the EP's required, I think you should go even farther as to seperate the small, medium, and large worlds in each category. It would make it much easier for people to find what they're looking for!
Sadly I will not be able to update this thread until late tomorrow, I cannot get onto my computer, Blue screen of Death again! And the engineer has not come out today, but tomorrow instead!
