Personally, wouldn't mind. My only concern is that I know regulation of games with gambling is a much tighter thing within the EU. Though it does have a T rating already and there's a Nintendo game called 51 Clubhouse Games that has Poker and Blackjack with just chips to play with...but that itself bumped the game up to a T equivalant rating, despite it's kid-friendly asthetics. Even has two kid game pieces as voiced characters...but they don't show up for the more 'adult' games.
However, I would like an actual expansion pack... not just a game pack!
I want a Las Vegas themed world with hotels, casinos, and late night entertainment. Examples include magic shows (with a magician career), late night talk shows (maybe sims can be guests or hosts), and concerts (also bring back bands). Hospitality features would include hotels (with the option to also own one). Casinos with arcade machines, slot machines, poker tables, and pool tables! Gambling will be a new skill.
Imagine the beauty of a Las Vegas themed world at night... with neon lights all over!
Mainly, I'd just like to have one if there is a way to do a heist at a casino. You know, rob the vault, make off with a whole bunch of cash, steal some jewels...Some real Ocean's 11 stuff.
...So, really, I guess I'd actually just like a heist pack...
Love the idea of it, but gambling & kids don't mix. The franchise is targeted towards a younger audience (rated T), so EA would be walking a very fine line.
Additionally, in this age of inclusivity, they would have to be culturally sensitive. To do an 'Italian-style' town could be viewed as offensive & stereotypical.
Plus, the glitches & bugs would 🐸🐸🐸🐸 me off.

I don't think the Sims is really kid-friendly. TS4 has more thieves and everyone acts all flirty or just perpetually annoying, like stalkers.
Still no. Would they add the option to work for the Mob? Sounds bad, right? But who is in charge of said casinos? Or maybe you want to add violence?
I'd rather do an Italian pack with pizza and pasta, new plant types, mysteries, art, and sightseeing. Mysteries, as there has to be a good reason to buy the pack and explore there, right?
Now a heist pack could be something, if they would remove/tone down thefts in game. If it's connected to mischief, everyone would steal and blame each other for theft. It has to be classier than that. Maybe use special tools to carry out the heists, and investigators to catch the thieves. Let's bring back the police station and jail, where you can spend quality time with other criminals and scheme another heist with. But then hide your spoils to make it harder to get caught again.

As others have said, if it included hotels and other entertainment things like Vegas style shows in a Vegas themed world, that would be awesome! I wouldn't be interested other than that though.
I know it's never gonna happen ("iTs a KidS gAMe" blah blah blah) But just thinking of all the storylines that I can come up with with a gambling pack is making me drool. This would honestly be PERFECT for one of my criminal sims to have his own casino as another base of operations. And if we got a world that was full of casino glitz and glamour?? YES PLEASE.
Sure, why not? I already like the addition of Sabaac (though I usually pretend it’s poker), and it certainly would be a good addition to crime family roleplay.

To be honest I'd love for all the premium content of Sims 3 and the themed lots that went with most of them to make their way into Sims 4.
