I accidentally deleted my household and made a ton of new saves trying to get them back when all I had to do was use the recover save button.

2016 that happened to me, I backed up my Documents to the iCloud because I thought that it would make space... I forgot the Documents folder is where the Sims 4 is suppose to be stored.
It was my fault really, I wanted to have a big party, I threw it at the Castle. Had the Queen host, Invited all the Nobles, The Knights, the Mages, it went along well... most of the guests were gathered in the Throne Room, and Feast Hall, everyone had food and drink dancing eating socializing, and then I realized, a certain Evil, Mischievous spellcaster was missing, and I know she arrived, and I locked the main gate, after everyone entered the castle.
Just before I started to frantically search for her, I get the Notification that there is a Fire.
So the King, Queen and Knight the Mage, and I head up to the East Wing Mage's Study in the tower, where she was and the Fire. I have the Mage cast Frost on the Fire, I end the Party everyone leaves. Next Morning I have the King and Queen Summon the Mage into the Throne room, where I influence the King to decide what to do, The Mage invited the Witch so was made responsible.
I'm sitting there like "Is this why King Stephan didn't invite Maleficent to Aurora's Christening? Was she too lit for the party?"
I love the Sleeping Beauty tale. Saw Disney's version when it first hit the theaters. Yes, I'm that old. LOL

My Sim had invited his girlfriend over, and made her lobster thermidor. She ends up getting an uncomfortable moodlet. It turned out she had the "Child of the Island" trait, and can't eat fish.

Blind monkeys randomly pecking at the keys. BTW, lobsters aren't fish, which makes the reaction all the worse.

My vampire asked permission and drank from her mother. The mother gets a call that states that the caller is disappointed in the mother for drinking without permission.

That's got to be a bug. It's way too similar to the one wherein if a Sim stayed at home while going to college, the parent would scold them for cheating, when they didn't cheat.
