How many times should I make offer items to get into the secret society?

One of my sims offered 1 time for 3 days, so he offered 3 items in total with 2 magnificent qualities and 1 perfect one. But he has never gotten any joining alert from the members. It happened to my vamp sim. Now I'm trying with my spell caster sim. He offered 2 perfect items but he hasn't got any message yet. How long should I have to wait for them? I appreciate all helps. Thanks.
