I've been working on a huge modern industrial build for the past couple of weeks and I desperately needed a break, so this challenge was a great change of scenery. I love weathering builds so I figured what would suit that better than an aged roadside gas station. The ground floor is based on the blueprint, with some slight tweaks. I added the garage to the side of the house and knocked out some walls to facilitate my layout, but it has mostly stayed the same. The second floor is my own riff to accommodate a living area for the business owner. For some reason this saved to the gallery as having CC, but there isn't any in this build.

The Pitstop is a great roadside gas station themed build! @PixelNest It has been very creatively designed! Very nice exterior design and the weathered walls are great! The fuel pumps section is great! Very nice garage! The engine looks great on the front exterior! It is great there is a car there, and Sims will like doing woodworking on the crafting table. I hope its ok @AlJay as I have had a bad couple of days and I did most today with chills and a bad tummy, so im sorry if I missed anything out or made any silly mistakes.
@luckyheather wow, that is so much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. I like the separate garage with the connecting roof. Perfect for when it rains.

...because it's a cabin, made of wood, and painted red. Managed to make it a starter home within the $18k budget. Plus it uses only Get Together and Laundry Day as the expansion packs. Works best in the Mid-nowhere lot in Windenburg (just because I love building in that world).

I just realized I forgot to update the name to the correct one when I copied the template. My bad!
Thanks @rosemow! Thanks @AlJay. I couldn't believe that cost less than $18K. Love the wrap-around front porch. Nice custom artwork of modern paintings too!
I love this challenge because of how different everyone's interpretations look. I'll have to go look back at everyone else's entries by the end of the month.
