Hello! I have been playing the Sims 3 for years, and the last 3 years using mods. The game will play okay for a short time, but always ends up having some sort of issue. I have uninstalled and re-installed more times than I can count. My latest issue is that the game will not launch at all, just a black screen and that's it. I have taken out all custom content files, .sims3packs in Downloads folder, and in the Mods folder, overrides and .package files. What's interesting to me is that every time I re-install the game, there are still some mods showing up in the game. Is there another place that these mods are stored that I am missing? And, if mods are not the problem for the game not launching, then what could be the problem? I have also tried cleaning and de-fragmenting the Windows 10 system. I need help, please!
