There are lots of swim areas in the lakes near the splash pad, including a spot where toddlers can wade, and parents can dip infant toes in the water while holding them. (it was one of the first things I found in the world)
You can dip infant toes in the water at the beach in the new world (not sure if it is only after they can pull to stand and not sure about other worlds). You can also play in the spray park holding an infant, but the infants only get a water moodlet when their toes are dipped in the water on the beach. The only thing I…
I love the community lots in this world, including the EA-built spray park and beach area, even though it can't be moved. It has a vibe of the suburbs and reminds me somewhat of Vancouver island Canada as far as style (Victoria etc.). The neighborhood and walking paths are laid out like many neighborhoods across Canada and…
I really want kiddie swings and kiddie pools (or for adults to hold the tots in the pool like in freeplay or in sims 3 island paradise with the ocean). Tots really need swimwear. My little nephew who is 20 months is in the pool all the time.
I write and I enjoy creating characters from my writing in both the sims and Second Life. I tend though to keep them the same age/keep aging off and stick with the same small cast of characters. I use story-driven role play to grow my characters and get inside their heads but as my stories are educational children's…
I was mostly on Second Life the last few years and I picked up a knack for decorating, creating avatars, and photography. Now with some of the amazing stuff in TS4, especially some of the CC I am getting back into sims 4. I am amazed by how much free or low cost decorations there are compared to what I have to pay for…
I mostly play Second Life because as somebody into family roleplay and digital photography Second Life has more content but the toddlers got me back into TS4 somewhat.
Probably the best release (out of both free and paid content) for the sims 4 was the toddler update. It finally made me uninstall ts3 whereas prior to that update I would play ts3 more than ts4.
Am very happy with TS4 so far/toddlers were great edition. I would love to see in the future: -pets -seasons (please add swimming in the ocean) -swimming stuff of some sort for toddlers -cars (even if like ts2 cars) -university if there is time I know other people love the supernatural stuff. I am okay with buying the…
It had a lot more content than Get Together (which I was somewhat disappointed with as it felt more like a stuff pack with a couple of interactions). Maybe it just seems like a ton of content because it is all content I will use whereas in GTW I only really play one career and in City Life the main things I use are the…
I think it's a compete sims game now with everything that would be expected in one but more EPs will add some nice content (pets, seasons etc.) I finally got around to uninstalling TS3 today. I love TS4 now but I think they released the game too early/it was more of a beta release. I think it would have almost been better…
And with the teens, it is not that unrealistic for even a child of 13 or so to be the same height or taller than their parents. By the time I was 12 years old, I was only 2 inches shorter than my adult height and it was my behavior/interests that set me apart from adults.
I have always enjoyed TS4 with the emotions and advanced graphics but this puts it on par with the other sims games. Now I think I will finally uninstall my TS2 and TS3 and give myself disk space for more TS4 stuff.
I think the toddlers are excellent. Crawling would be best done with a baby update. Did you know parents can change a diaper with the tot standing without a changing table and the diaper will leak puddles all over the floor.
Only thing I want to see for toddlers is something with swimming or pools/for the pool update from way back to include things for toddlers. Could be a kiddie pool or swimming with toddlers or floaties.
I always assumed that they would be released 2-3 years after game release/around the same time as pets as figuring out different height sims usually takes a few years for the programmers. Best toddlers I have seen in the sims series and worth the wait. Only thing I would love to see added someday from freeplay is either…
def toddlers. I have no interest in the spa items and won't be buying them. That being said I LOVED outdoor retreat and do plan to buy perfect patio for the hot tubs. But spa items are right up there with watching paint dry and celebrity EPs. I have no interest in spas even irl and try to avoid groaning when other women…
yes I definitely would. It is the one thing I miss from sims 2 and 3. I am okay with not having the open world etc as the transitions load fast for me but would love love love toddlers.
