Not a castle either, it's a hunting lodge that was built in 1712 and rebuilt following a severe fire. They got planning permission from local conservation experts in line with the Grade II listing, and the original is listed because it's an interesting example of 'picturesque folly', which is basically an expensive…
The Equality Act is a piece of British legislation protecting people who use various services against discrimination and harassment, and there is no sensible reading of section 29 whereby a service-provider providing a headscarf in a computer game which anyone can play is discriminating against atheists on the basis of a…
EA are not going to remove an item of content (which, unlike that infernal eyeball ring, isn’t even marked to generate on random sims) they’ve already made and released which is relevant to the everyday lives of millions of people because some people don’t want to even scroll past it in CAS. Some of you are being…
Okay, I've been avoiding these threads for my own sanity, but I'm a Muslim woman with dual nationality of a Middle Eastern country, and "it's mandatory that women wear hijab" is simply not true for the majority of Muslim countries. I am not trying to get at you, but this is a huge over-simplification of a range of…
I originally put that yellow (...orange?) floral headscarf with that green shirt then changed it, and you've made me regret my choice. Going to go back on my gut instinct and do an outfit using that tonight. My Sims need more colour!
If you use CC, accessory undershirts and leggings are definitely your friend! Women who wear hijab tend to cover everything from the neck down to the ankles (or thereabouts), which can be tricky on the Sims if you are using majority EA content, but those two CC items make it a lot easier. Here are some CC-free casual…
Well, I'm excited to finally be able to make Sims who look like my family members without having to make CC. You lot can take it or leave it, I guess. :/
Souq.com have it! http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/the-sims-4-pc-pc-7252335/i/# So do geekaygames (can't guarantee it will be in one of their stores, but it's definitely online), but it's more expensive: http://www.geekaygames.com/pc-games/the-sims4-limited-edition.html
This glitch has been around in my - and many other - games since the very first day (I posted about it WEEKS ago - everyone ignored me, haha). It's just that many people didn't notice until the recent patch, partially because people's legacies were now reaching second gen or whatever, and partially because it used to just…
It used to be like that for me too, ever since I installed the game, but now since the patch the young adult face 'sticks' right up through elder instead of getting fixed at the adult stage in my game. I wonder if they tried to fix the original issue but it went wrong?
I have the same issue. Here is a household consisting of the exact same sim (as saved in my gallery) twice: One version started off as a young adult. The other was added as a teen and immediately aged up using a birthday cake. Face ends up different due to the aging process.
To make the issue a little clearer for those still confused, here is a household consisting of the exact same sim (as saved in my gallery) twice: One version started off as a young adult. The other was added as a teen and immediately aged up using a birthday cake. The cas.fulleditmode cheat was not involved at any stage.…
@ebuchala, a guru has had it pointed out by someone else on one of those threads (unfortunately time differences mean I can't access them at the right time myself!) and confirmed that it didn't look right to them, although they didn't post any more about it after that. I think you're right - I'm not holding my breath for a…
No. It has nothing to do with being edited in CAS. If I'd realised you were all going to become weirdly fixated on the fact I showed my sims in CAS for clarity, i would have just tried to just take very clear photos in game. As it was, the constant animations made this hard. Male sims who were born or aged up from…
This isn't caused by the cheat! This is caused by the natural aging up process in the game. I pulled my sims up in CAS to simply illustrate the issue because its very easy to see the way sims faces have changed when they are in CAS. It also shows the discrepancy between YA faces and other lifestages is a glitch rather than…
My problem is that my sims basic facial features change drastically. This is not normal aging. It is a glitch. I don't really see why it's hard to understand why that would be an issue in a game where genetics play big part...
It's definitely a hijab not a burqa, but terminology aside, I'm really happy about this. I used to create/convert CC hijab for some of my families in TS3, so it's nice to get to use something without having to spend hours actually making it beforehand, haha. Here it is in game, in case anyone is wondering how it looks:
