I believe you can make your own apartments, but I haven’t tried and just now spied a warning post here in the forums about not bulldozing the apartment buildings because it causes some gameplay difficulties. Can confirm available in California; play on. Search under ‘Eco Lifestyle’ as wasn’t attached to the main game title as an add-on yet. Also, there’s a 1.26 patch this AM so grab that too.

Agreed, all - and I used a similar mod in ... TS2? 3? I can’t quite recall, but it wasn’t helpful overall as described above. Tasks take far too long at regular speed, and particularly when your Sim stands still for several in-game-minutes before beginning various interactions / tasks. Glad to hear I’m not alone. 🙂

@BohoFlower I play (as I have almost exclusively) with aging set to off and occasionally age up my Sims in the way you suggest (I even stop progression in the Sim Worlds at large almost as a rule); I just wish the Sim minutes passed a tad more slowly.
