Sims 3 is a highly temperamental game and will somehow manage to lag on even the best computers. Posting your country, budget and preference for a laptop or desktop could help others look for suggestions.

All of those seem amazing. I like the 17 in Asus you mentioned and the 17 inch MSI as well. And wow that last one is definitely a beast. SLI means it has two graphics card right? I don’t think I need that much power, especially since I do have a desktop as well @puzzlezaddict

Sorry for the late reply, it’s 1 am where I am, and I just got home from work. I’d prefer gtx 1070 at least and I’m not too particular about the processor, but i do know that I don’t want an i9 - I’ve heard they have terrible cooling in laptops. I don’t mind installing RAM or an SSD, just as long as it has a good storage…

The 17 was the one I was eyeing so that sucks to hear. I’ve also heard about their bad customer service which is why I wanted to ask here. I’m stuck between that and the predator Helios 500 from acer. Same specs but cheaper and acer has a student discount.

I know both the power supply and cooling are important thanks to tech deals and have a separate budget set aside for those items. I’ve had this problem a lot too. I have never waited long enough for it to self populate seeing as though I usually go in and just force some townies to join the career manually.

Yes if you are only physically moving the computer to a new location, unplugging it to do so will not mess with any of the files already on the computer so your saves and screenies will be safe.

Thanks! I wasn’t sure if Delphy’s extractor would extract the .sim file and the package files of the cc as well. I’ll try that tomorrow because it’s too late for me to do anything now, and I’ll give an update.

@phoebebebe13 I went online this morning to order the laptop and it said that it can’t load my item because of price difference or item availability and to review my configuration Edit: Nvm it was only something about a $50 rebate which raised the price by $50 which isn’t much of a problem.

She has the perfect garden LTW so maybe 10 of different types of plants. That ltw is a pain to complete. If you need to go any higher than that budget, it’s no problem. Everyone in the household has a job so they earn quite a bit daily.
