  • I'd love to participate! I am also Team Llama! This is the Sims after all B)
  • This was a really difficult decision! I feel like I enjoy both... I don't use any gameplay cheats though so I picked simulation style. I like my sims to 'work' for their achievements, I always have a specific goal in mind that I try to work to. And I enjoy it if the game throws a curveball at me (although TS4 doesn't do…
  • Jeez, remember when TS4 first came out and they showered us with shallow Stuff Packs? People claimed SPs were going to replace the Sims 3 Store. Now, they've really upped their game in regards to the Stuff Packs that come out, and they contain way more gameplay than before. But now it looks like the kits are replacing ts3…
  • I'm missing... a lot. I have most of the packs I really wanted and am pretty happy with my game right now, there's still lots of stuff for me left to explore. I will eventually get some more, but not sure when and I only buy them for minimal 50% off. Here's what I'm missing (and whether I'm interested in it or not): EPs -…
  • Spa Day was my first pack ever and I still think it's one of my most used packs, because it's so easy to implement in any family. None of the gameplay objects are really groundbreaking, but it's just relaxing and realistic gameplay. The fancy baths, sauna trips and yoga math in the backyard is in pretty much all of my…
  • I agree about the festivals. The CL seem to randomly pop-up and I often can't send my sims there because they are already working/doing something else. I wish the calender would just show when they're happening.
  • So fun, this is a great challenge! I'm also doing it (sort of?). I made an excel sheet of all the aspirations, skills, traits and careers in game and whenever I play my legacy family I make sure every child does something I haven't done before so eventually I want to have done everything there is in game! I assume it will…
  • Thanks! I was looking through the list but for some reason I couldn't find it. Good to know it's on the laundry list, although I'd assume it shouldn't be that hard to fix? :)
  • You'll probably never even see any aliens unless you play the scientist career AND actively look for them. An evil scientist btw is awesome to play because the career comes with a ton of crazy appliances and potions that can manipulate other sims around you haha.
  • Yes you're correct. It doesn't mean there's only 80 sims total, it's just about the sims you're playing. Anyhoo, to answer your question. "Fill vacant houses" never did anything for me. after a few generations all the townspeople would be dead, their houses empty and my sims would be the only ones around :'). So I've…
  • AFAIK following Carl's guide: getting a sim in the scientist career and turning on the alien satellite will give you a 25% of an abduction that night. My female sim was the scientist but yet her husband was kidnapped 3 times and after the third time he came back pregnant. He got abducted about once a week. I turned on the…
  • I also think it sounds like fun! But wasn't Monte Vista like 20,- on the Store? So I highly doubt they'll add them for 5 bucks haha.
  • My little sister plays religiously! Funny enough we both pretty much own all the packs the other person doesn't haha. I have two friends who play, but only every now and then.
  • I just want to add my two cents about Movie Hangout! Because I think it's actually a very fun stuff pack. :) So the Build/Buy and CAS from the game are all very boho-type style. Very busy patterns with a lot of bright colours, pretty unique. I mostly use it to style my teenager rooms and I use it for my outdoor,…
  • A little bit off-topic but... Honestly I wonder if Carl still has fun playing the sims. I used to love his videos because he (and LGR) were the voice of reason within this overly hyped & happy sims community on youtube. But now his videos are constantly a negative stream of critique. Does critiquing kits/bust the dust…
  • Your plan sounds like it will cause a LOT of problems. Think of all the people who bought the pack, sometimes even for 40,-, and now they're going to add them for free? The backlash will be INSANE.
  • Only three! I always play legacy style, but so far I haven't had much look with my computer. They keep dying on me and I actually really miss my past legacies. I just started a new one though but I always think the first generation is the most boring. Once the second generation becomes YAs I tend to play rotational and…
  • I didn't say objects and skills, I said activities. ;) But you're right, I had no idea it worked like that! But that doesn't sound super interesting tbh. We already sort of have "the zone"? Like painting faster/better when inspired or being better at chess when focused. So I don't really see the need for that. Getting…
  • City Living is also Nightlife I'd say, with the karaoke machines and singing skill! That being said I think each pack comes with a bit of "Freetime" stuff to do, with new skills and activities. But more would be nice :)
  • I also voted Get Together as I feel like it's the only way to get a group of sims to do what you want them to do! I think it fits pretty much every playstyle since you can create such versatile clubs. They always spice up my game a bit. I tend to put all my sims in clubs. AND when playing legacy families it's nice to make…
  • Honestly in a certain way TS4 is more open world than TS3. I like being able to travel to any world instead of being confined to the one your house is in. I still don't really mind the loading screens because it's really just a few seconds, and otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to play the game. But I do miss…
  • I would just like to share the great time my sim had when I sent her to the Spice festival during a thunderstorm.
  • Out of these four, I'll be voting Into The Future because it's the most unique and we don't have any aspect of its gameplay yet. But I enjoyed all of those mentioned above. I feel like Supernatural won't add much to the Sims 4 because we already have a bunch of supernatural's, although split up in different packs. Vampires…
  • Out of the ones I own: Seasons, Get Together, Get to Work and City Living. I voted for City Living because it's the one I find the easiest to incorporate into my playthroughs because it comes with a unique location to visit. I do like all of them and use them all. Next on my list to get it Eco Living tho and I think that…
  • I would like to be mean to my sims, but I just can't. I always work hard so they reach their aspiration, top of their career and a ton of skills. I just don't have the time to be evil!
  • Definitely just playing. I try to get through building and CAS asap and just start living my sims lives. I'm surprised so many people chose playing! I feel like I always see people online who solely build, but perhaps it is the vocal minority?
  • I honestly doubt the kits will ever go on sale tbh.
  • I just noticed this week that the lots seemed to be completely loaded, that was so odd to me too! The sim I was playing was going home from a night out, but she was about to pass out and pee herself and I noticed she was walking past her sister's house (my other family) and she actually passed out right in front of it…
  • @Patch__2008 Musician career? What pack has that?
