Before I got my gaming PC: anything from 10 seconds to a few minutes, depending on the number of mods installed. After my new gaming PC: about 10-30 seconds but it's a heavily modded game.
It's great fun playing them as superanturals. I also have the Free Spirit household (now married with one kid and one cat) as witches. I'm quite tempted to turn the Hecking family into a werewolf family I haven't decided if they'll be a werewolf/werewolf couple, vampire/werewolf couple (my only fear is the auto hatred…
I not only use premades, I have premades from three other games in my worlds. Got most of Strangetown living in Strangerville (the Singles are in Windenburg and the Anjay is in Oasis Springs), the original Roomies are in Willow Creek, Newcrest is now New Veronaville. I so far have all the sims from the original three TS2…
Yes because I'm using Kuttoe's Career Suite which changes promotion requirements for jobs and degrees - sometimes several - are required for many careers now. But a lot of them can study at university while working, since it's only the higher levels that need the degrees.
I actually deleted Marcus and his household, and moved the Singles from TS2 into that house instead. So I'm covered when it comes to aliens. But good idea about the Bjergsens! I'd been struggling to think of who could be one. Windenburg is my supernatural melting pot so I wanted one of each. The idea of mermaids living in…
The Villareals make amazing vampires. I turned them all, made Jacques a master vampire who is a rival to Vlad and added a lot to their basement so there was space for the coffins and also the urn of Jacques late wife (who died from poison). Max is proud to have been born into an ancient vampire family and can't wait to…
There's a lot I'd like but I'll keep it simple: Open neighbourhoods. I get it: we're not getting open world back. But I'd like to have sims visit their next door neighbours without going through a loading screen. As it is I can never see the point of visiting anyone. I'm not too sure how this would affect lot traits, but I…
It was a sushi place I downloaded from the gallery so you'll have to ask the original creator but I assume it was supposed to be a waiting area for people who would be getting takeout because people like adding realistic touches like that into the builds.
An alternative method could be to look at the distinguished degrees could can do at both unis (I assume, since she's a super sim, you'll be wanting the best degrees), each of the degrees a number and roll two random numbers, picking your two degrees that way?
I believe you can click on the whiteboard before classes start to assign that room to the class. People do it to ensure their students are being taught in an appropriate room for the lesson.
I've tried twice to send my sims on a date to a restaurant and neither time has the food successfully shown up before the end of the date. And both Bella and Mortimer kept getting up to clean up books because sims would get them out and put them down randomly.
I'm hoping for another EP, GP (faeries!) and a refresh (GTW needs love, and adding burglars could work really well here, maybe make the criminal career semi-active, too)
I'm finding things are just randomly going on fire. I thought it might be to do with Bust the Dust but I have roombas on each floor on a 12 hour cleaning cycle and I'm still getting spontaneous combustion.
You can freeze pregnancy with MCCC. That part isn't frozen while other houses are played so your sim can end up with a randomly named baby, and you'll miss out on any story you were planning for the mum (or dad, for the alien curious sims). I currently have three pregnant sims (Brandi Broke, Claire Ursine and Pascal…
I'm hoping for the TS1 heart bed to make a return, maybe a few other retro items. I miss those chunky computers and black and white TVs. Let's go old school with an aniversary!
You can actually use the sims throughout the years to chart how mobile phones have entered our lives and changed. The Sim: Landlines only, no mobiles TS2: Had mobiles but only as part of a pack, very limited use TS3: Had both landlines and smartphones TS4: Smartphones only, no landlines.
I use Language Barriers and a Keep Sims in Home Region mod so it makes sense to use rental lots on for worlds my sims wouldn't normally be able to drive to. And Language Barriers really makes things feel like a holiday.
I would love a showtime style pack. Bands, magic shows, acrobats... give me it all. I have a Trucy Wright sim and no magician skill or job I can give her. Things it could also have: - a reworked fame system (new for those who have the Entertainer Lifestyle or whatever it will be called pack, reworked for people who have…
I'll add EP lots designed for the world I'm currently. I'm terrible at building so I generally download them from the exchange or use store lots. My biggest bane of exchange lots are people who use Sweet Treats in their build and people who don't give their lots an in-game or description. Especially if it had one on the…
@Astro how are you making your screenshots look so crisp? Are they touched up afterwards or what? They look amazing. @emorrill there's a fantastic legacy where Amy Bull is the founder's spouse if you want Amy content. It's called the Southern Prettacy/Secksie Legacy (warnngs for strong language and bad taste humour). It's…
@Bananas_45 Thank you so much for the suggestions but they're all a little too sci-fi for automail and the only one that isn't only goes up to the elbow. They look fantastic, though. Saving that elbow one for Lan Fan if I can't find one better.
