Yeah. I find that reading the FAQs/Interactions lists and browsing the Nraas chatter threads helped a lot, and sometimes I got to learn about cool features through other people's experiences. And when in doubt...there's always Google :)

@MissCee if you're interested, there is an Nraas mod called Saver, which does nothing to your game except to remind you to save every 30 real-life minutes XD You can also adjust the minutes to be however long you want, but 30 is the default. I use it now, because I've been burned way too many times before.

Ahh I see. That could be it. That career has always been wonky at best. When my sim got the night shift, he kept having to report to work on a Wednesday, even though he didn't have work scheduled. It would take away work performance if he didn't show up, but it didn't give him any boost if he did. What a thankless job :P

Is he getting booted out early? Or maybe it's showing that he isn't officially "at work" until several hours after 9? Next time he reports for work, watch the work tab.
