  • I started streaming on Twitch on April 14th at twitch.tv/mistressofportals My stream focuses on bringing authors onto the channel and using the Sims 4 to bring them to life. It's a lot of fun for the authors, for me, and of course for the viewers. I made affiliate a couple of days ago. I do post the characters to the…
  • I've had this happen to a sim who didn't even have a death flower in her inventory. i had no idea what they were or what they were used for and had taken them out once I reached perfect as they had no resale value.
  • I had this happen to my elder sim, too - the only problem is that I didn't have a death flower showing up in her inventory and the two that I kept in the basement were not used up. I didn't want her to use the death flower as I'm working on a Legacy household. This is beyond aggravating. Incidentally, if you want a death…
  • Stuff packs are all cons, really. That's why I don't buy them. The only reason I'm actually getting this one is that I had a coupon that made it free. EA Promised us an object editor for both Sims 2 and Sims 3 but never delivered. I think they're afraid that user made objects would rob them of potential profits, but if…
  • I know for me the disappearing inventory didn't happen when I went to France but did happen when I went to China. China also caused a file corruption where the male head of household - who didn't go on the trip - could no longer sleep in any bed and nobody who tried sleeping in a bed he tried sleeping in could sleep…
  • I don't have any custom content or mods, either. I am playing a Legacy family with the 2nd generation adult son of the founder, his adult wife, their 3rd generation young adult daughter and 3rd generation teenage son. Both 2nd gen son and his wife visited France and came home with no problems. However, as a birthday…
  • I've notified tech support of our camera problems. jumped through all the tier 2 hoops and they are sending the problem to the developers. Cross your fingers for a swift resolution :)
  • I've got this issue too and I haven't purchased generations - I just downloaded and installed the patch they recently offered us so it's got to be something in the patch.
  • Another great idea would be to have the kids work on a science fair project. :) Not sure how you'd implement that one, but especially with our new chemistry set from generations it shouldn't be that hard.
  • I like the idea of different types of homework such as book reports, etc. I also think that, as in real life, kids should gain a small amount of skill in each of the areas of knowledge for attending school, a larger amount for successfully completing assignments. That, after all, is a main part of what school does - help…
  • "because i think it is odd for an adult to hold about a 10 lbs baby and feed it at the same time" Nothing odd about this. I did it all the time when my son was a baby, and do it when I babysit the nieces or nephews. The first skill a new mother learns is how to juggle a baby on one hip while talking on the phone, fixing…
  • If they ever do introduce this career, and it's one I've suggested myself, maybe at the same time they can introduce into the game wills for your aging sims. The will allows you to mark each item you own for a specific person to inherit and what portion (if any) of the money you have they will receive when you die. It…
  • It doesn't even seem like it should be that difficult to implement seeing as they already have gems and metals in the game. All they would need to do is give us a crafting bench.
  • Very nice, and very detailed ideas here. Mersims would be an interesting addition.
  • I'm for this, but I'm REALLY hoping they'll give us the create-an-object/editor they promised us while they were working on developing first Sims2 and then Sims3.
  • I will definitely be getting it. Every expansion pack adds something new and interesting to the game play.
  • Could work with a webcam, too. Just not sure I'd be willing to pay for this by itself - what other ideas do you see going with this? How much mileage do you think a player would get out of it?
  • I feel for you. It does look like an expansion pack, but that's why I always - ALWAYS - research before buying any sims product. I refuse to buy the stuff packs they release because they promised us an object editor in sims 2 and sims 3 and then failed to deliver. CAP is awesome, but it's not an object editor.
  • It is DEFINITELY worth it. Not only have I used this to create patterns for the Sims3, but actually used it to help me create repeating patterns for fabric designs at Spoonflower.com . The most recent stuff in my studio (birthday fabric, peacock feathers, paisley, etc.) is all original artwork of mine that I made using…
  • Since EA has delved into religion in Medieval it is possible they would be willing to delve into it in Sims3, and at any rate it's only an idea so there's not any harm in discussing ideas. Personally I wish they would make an EP based on Medieval with all the hair styles, clothing styles, furniture, the breast feeding,…
  • Sims Online didn't really work out that well. It became a glorified chat room, and not a well moderated chat room at that. You really couldn't do much in the game. Skill building was real time, so you watched your sim reading a book while you chatted with any one around you. In general, it was a massive let down from what…
