I managed to figure out the transmogifier, but the second step here is what has me confused- https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/526195-the-sims-hot-date/faqs/16100 Specifically: "Once you’re done with that, you need to open up The Sims Menu Editor. You can download it at http://blueprint.simfreaks.com/. You need to open up…
Having the same problem. Specfically, I tried to play the game and it told me that I had installed another expansion after the complete collection (I hadn't) and it needed to update makin magic, it tried and I got an "unknown error...aborting" Then, I tried to install it and got an unknown error, that it couldn't be…
I know I can uninstall the sims complete collection and re-install, but I've made progress in the game and don't want to lose it, also I'd have to re-install the mods I already have.
No, don't think I ever cried over game....................well, maybe once. There was a technique in Metroid where you go into the wall and go up, but if you got stuck you had to turn your game off because there was no way to end it (you couldn't die) I called nintendo game counselors and the guy said "Well, it sounds like…
a couple of things with free will apparently, sometimes my sims relationship with a friend can go ROCK BOTTOM, rock bottom, meaning from over 50 positive to -100 negative..............not good.
I've played sims 1 several times and just installed the complete collection, fun game, meetings needs and stuff, not sure I'll be interested in some of the expansions, like vacation/hot date/etc, though it is nice that time stops so I can socialize downtown. Haven't tried vacation, but there is lodging there so I can…
Was sims online originally just SIMS 1 online? I know with other MMO's people can run their own free servers sometimes if they don't charge money/make profit from them.
I've been playing with the same couple every time I re-installed sims 1 to play it, but may have other families.............that's a big maybe, managing just two with one bathroom is somewhat challenging, have to juggle all their needs.
I've only played the original and expansions thereof, but plan to try the others, I also wanted to try sims online, wish that was still around, I guess competition from secondlife killed it.
I was going to say that it's kind of hard to have your sim die unless you intentionally REALLY neglect their needs, or put them in pool until they run out of energy, then I saw the fire comment, but I knew to solve that I needed cooking skill.
I listen to WHATEVER I like, I have everything from Mandy Moore, to hard rock hair bands, to rap, to classical to video game music. Mostly what I'll do is listen to lots of it, an"wear out" the song, I've been told I should listen to more non-mainstream music to find things I like.

Sorry that I can't help you with your issues but I'm having issues as well. Since this forums policy is I can not post links yet or start my own threads I have to post here. I played the original sims, now I'm using the complete collection, and it has some annoyances. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. 1. Cockroaches- I'd rather…
Well, I wasn't really planning on spending a lot of time here, I have some questions on sims 1 hopefully someone else can answer. Since I can't post my own thread. The complete collection had changed some things from the originals sims 1 release which I don't understand. I wonder if they'd be hard to find considering sims…
I managed to semi solve my problem and get the game running. Also, do I certain post count before I can start new threads here? I wanted to ask something about sims 1, in that forum.
I found this, a link I can't post, which worked, turning off something......how many posts do I need to post links? I did all these commands at the run prompt, except the last one since I need the driver turned on. fter you install this security update, some programs may not run. (For example, some video games may not…
Hi There! I'm an old school simmer. As old as you can possibly get, as I started with original simcity in the early 90's. The original simcity was described to me as a "game where you make a city and have a monster come terrorize it." I found out that was not the whole point of the game! The first time I played the game…
Sorry to bring this thread back, but I am having the same problem, I am using Windows 7 64-bit professional, and trying to play the sims complete collection. I know the solution is to undo a windows update, but first of all I can't click windows update without my computer freezing (I think I found a way to solve that too,…
