@BryonyRae I hope its from reporting, which means one person targetted me, because otherwise maxis targetted me LOL... All of mine were tagged while other people only had their stuff that was on popular now tagged (which makes it feel like its coming from reports?)... feeling singled out lol!!! @SoapSuds From all the other…
@BryonyRae That's what I saw too this morning. But now more and more are being tagged as CC, I think ALL of mine have been. I don't know if someone is flagging them and then Maxis is doing it? I am not the only one either! So just about everything I've uploaded in the past month or so is hidden. :/
@Raylion I'm totally with you on the lost enthusiasm. But now I am doubly annoyed - they have gone back and changed all the old stuff with custom pics to CC as well..... grrrrrrrrr... Time to start uploading elsewhere for sure!
I get why they did it but it's a huge slap in the face to essentially take it away without giving us another option. I will probably start uploading my stuff elsewhere so I can actually show off what I created instead of building having to think of how the screenshot will come out.
My guess is they did this to prevent people uploading questionable content (like nudity, or copyrighted material....) Of course they didn't give us any way to customize our screenshots in the patch... :/

This is work around for roof. You have a half-hipped roof to butt up against the wall (so it doesn't bleed through). Then use a gabled roof on only the front part to get the roof overhang. Not the best but that's what I do. edit - friezes and wall trim are all about order. so: rebuild the floor in the foyer, remove any…
Did you delete some of the floor on the top there to make an open foyer? That's what it looks like. Then the game doesn't recognize it as a closed room anymore so friezes and roofing will poke through. It might work to replace the floor, then place friese, then delete floor. AFTER all your rooms are in place (like don't…

@sigzy05 I have this problem, then when you make it go as high as it has to be it is really hard to get the other pieces to match up. So you have to curve them all, and then raise them all... I think this could be solved (and many other roofing problems) if there were an option to clone roof pieces. Then so long as you got…
My bad if this was covered I tried to search. Here is a bug I keep running into when working with the rounded decks: It automatically applies the wall trim to the bottom of just that little curved part, and then as you can see its trying to apply both wall trims at the same time I guess... There's "nothing to delete" if I…
You can also google landscape plans to find top-down layouts that might help you out. Other than that, sometimes it can help if you think of the outside area as rooms as well (the pool "room" the patio "room" etc.) and divide up into functional and decorative space. Nothing wrong with lots of lawn in a design, either!
I have a few chateauesque lots (id gizky). @marjia has a few like this: https://www.thesims.com/en_AU/gallery/FADF42D08FC911E586D2BCD67EAF595D also try @SpecterCody and @HattySims off top of my head I know they've done tuscan style homes. good luck!
Hi, I imagine they close out your case because its not a problem limited to just you. I and other people I chat to that use the gallery have the same problem. Download counts will drop, sometimes by a little sometimes by a lot. Sometimes things won't even appear in the gallery.
If I am left with large empty spaces there are a few solutions beyond a total rework. Interior corridors work well, especially on the second floor where bedrooms are. You can break them up and use open door frames to create separated hallways. In large open plan areas sometimes using columns can break up the space, and is…
If you look at the Maxis faves and then at your follow feed or even at new you see that they just aren't COMPARATIVELY good to what you will find the majority of the time. There is some degree of objectivity involved; the first house I built would be objectively worse than my latest - of course! Maxis can fave whatever…
I was working on this challenge and feeling pretty smug about it, then I saw the entries so far and am back to earth. @chips46 if that is intermediate i don't want to compete with you at expert :P reminds me of the "camping" in england/wales. @JasonAnthonySterling very original and cool. think i will pass on swimming…
I'm with you on that @Konan_Norris ... BUT I was very happy for a sim friend who got a maxis fave, then I was annoyed when I realized they faved a fairly old build of hers! That means it never got the "publicity" that goes with being on the top weekly downloads. Why not favorite a more recent build of hers (they are all…
I guess that depends on what you want it to look like? Hard to do a roof like that with those angled parts. If you leave it as-is you could use corbels on the angled walls just below roofline as if they are supporting the roof.
