I didn't end up buying it. It's one I do think I'll eventually want, but I'm just not playing often enough to justify the expense. Plus the bugs scare me too. Being a grandma has really changed my life since I'm the babysitter. Once she's older, I'm sure I'll get back to gaming. Unless there's more grandkids by then! I…
According to Lilsimsie, all the lots were built by EA. She thinks it's probably because of the apartment system not being ready in time to hire Simmers.
Thanks! I'm just getting to that part. Looks like that was the last thing. I'm going to have to watch it again later as my granddaughter decided to have a raspberry blowing contest in the middle of it.
I think the trailer answered lots of questions about being a landlord. But it's left me wanting to know more about being a tenant, living in the new world, and about animal sanctuaries.
I'll buy it early, not because of the bonus items. Since I just restarted not long ago, I want to be able to start using duplexes and apartments right away. This will be especially helpful in the smaller worlds. Now if we could just have multifunctional lots!
I'm just so happy to have mine back to mobile. It seems less cluttered to me. Plus on desktop, it wasn't always going to the correct posts. But I love that others prefer a different way. If we were all the same, what fun would that be!
Paris Bonjour, bonjour to the most romantic city on Earth! Live your life in the city of lights, eating all of the best pastries and cheeses. And who knows, maybe you'll find a reason to stay in Paris forever! Well, I'm all for cheese and pastries! Unfortunately, French is not a language I know even a little. Thanks for…
For some reason I have the idea that the mold is a lot challenge. I'm not sure if I actually read that or just assumed it. Hopefully that's the case and you can decide if you want it or not.
I can't access the forum at all on my phone anymore. It shows up, but weirdly formatted. Maybe it switched from the mobile version to the PC version, but it doesn't even take me to the first unread comment on posts anymore. So now I will have to wait until I can access my desktop to catch up.
Not sure if I like that you can be evicted. I just want to live in a duplex without having to worry about that. Hopefully it's only for breaking and entering.
I agree that I don't get the idea that only two families are allowed from that description. We can have duplexes, and we can have apartments. Probably there will be a limit of some sort since the number of Sims on a lot is limited. How many can be in an apartment complex might depend on whether or not there are loading…
I'm worried about losing the forums. With the disappearance from Google, forum bugs like posts not being marked read without a refresh, and forums going down entirely, it's not looking good. Of the replacement options I would prefer Discord to Answers HQ. Can you even start a new thread at the latter? Not sure how…
I'm hoping that we don't have to do the management stuff if we don't want to. I want to be able to build and have my Sims live in duplexes and apartments without having to own them. I also want to be able to have the families I want move in, so I can create my own neighborhood stories.
That's definitely true of most mods, but if you remove cooking mods without removing the food made with those mods, it can corrupt your lot so it won't open. Did not know that! Fortunately, I had already decided to start over, but was keeping the old save for referral purposes and nostalgia. Strangely enough, I feel freer…
I had Srsly's Cooking Overhaul installed in my game and discovered today it's not working properly. To delete cooking mods, you have to enter every played household and delete any food anywhere. So...I ended up deleting my large rotation save. A bit of a wrench, but I had started over after Growing Together. Fortunately,…
