  • Love the look of that lot! I try to make builds based on photos or plans I really like online, but I'm a terrible builder and they never end up looking right!
  • I do a rotation of the same family line (my legacy) and I enjoy playing through the spares etc. At the moment it's a small rotation as not all the spares have or will be having children. I find that by the time I've played round the rotation I have ideas for what I want to do with the family I have next. It keeps gameplay…
  • Yep! That was a really nice touch! I remember when I played Pleasantview I sent Cassandra Goth and the man from the dreamer family (Darren?) On a nice long honeymoon!
  • Oh that was such a joy to watch. I love how 'quirky' the older games were. With really unique features. I wish some of the features from Livin large and house party they would bring to TS4. I still remember the very first Sims trailer where the moving van stops and they 'notice' the camera and wave to it. I was like wow!…
  • Good to know about the basketball! I have a couple who live outside the courts in the spice district so I like to send them down there sometimes! I used to make one of my Sims who joined the athletic career use the treadmill (which as others have said, slims Sims down), but she also used the punching bag and didn't become…
  • I put maybe as there are some bits im interested in so would like it at some point, but not immediately. It's not something I have to get my hands on. Considering I don't have all EPs and GPs I'd like to get something I want more, sooner than this SP.
  • I like quite a lot of the clothes and hairs. I have a few Sims who I can picture wearing things like this. I'm also keen on the fashion photography career to see how that is. I feel it would have shown greater attention to detail to put the text in simlish though, and fits in with the whole feel of the world my Sims live…
  • If this is going to go ahead, I'd be happy to join! I write my legacy on a blog and love reading others and seeing how other simmers play!
  • No thank you! All my Sims get uncomfortable when they have it. And as for myself, I even had my wedding cake made with red velvet instead of the traditional fruitcake 🤮
  • Oh apocalypse challenges are my favourite!! I'll be reading through your challenge for sure! I just love how everyone approaches it from a different angle with what they unlock and their priorities. Plus it's just chaos!
  • Of course I look forward to playing my Sims and progressing their lives. Last night I played a birthday party of one of my favourite Sims after not being able to play for a few days before that. It was nice to play again and really enjoyed throwing a good party for one of my favourite characters. I had been looking forward…
  • This would be so fun. They've managed to make vacation worlds and lots already and in previous games. Surely there is a way that it could be adapted for Sims to be able to go on cruises? 7, 10 or 14 nights. I love the idea of weddings and let's not forget cruise ship entertainment, restaurants etc. And calling in to local…
  • I would much prefer a 'farming' pack if it ended up like this instead! Country life appeals to me much more. Perhaps some nice community lots in a new world like a small village bar, little rural shop etc The country lifestyle features just make the concept of this GP / EP more appealing to me
  • Ah thanks! I'm on mobile signatures not showing. I'll check it out!
  • Sounds an interesting project. Do you write about it?
  • I only got TS4 at the end of last year and have 2 EPs for it so far. I have a little 'order' of which packs I want to get and in which order I want to get them, as in - the ones I want the most are at the top. And Strangerville is pretty high up. I love all the quirky, abnormal aspects about the Sims. It's not even the…
  • Haha thank you! I love writing this family as they're all so unique
  • This sounds interesting! If you write it up if love to read it!
  • I suppose my main family is my legacy family and currently generation 3 are growing up :) I play rotationally so do also give my spares stories and work on their ambitions etc. Currently I have 2 favourite Sims, one of my 3rd gen spares and a daughter of one of my second gen spares. They are so full of character. Their…
  • I've now done a family tree for the Waites family which can be found here: https://www.theplumtreeapp.com/public/5d39b817162cc70006fb3262 It will be updated after each story update so spoilers aren't given via the tree like changes to families and traits etc. Photos of the children will be added when they reach YA/adult!
  • I would like them! Definitely would be used in my game.
  • Agreed! Unless my Sims have a city native aspiration then I usually don't keep them in San Myshuno for long as the neighbours can be ridiculous! However I'm currently playing a young couple and moved them in opposite the Bheedas. Both Sims are best friends with Arun and I find him to be a little sweetie. Theyre not so keen…
  • I would agree with this although I might put my elder age as a bit older. Under our current government I'd still be working at 60 and for many years after!
  • I commented on your blog, but I love this! Looking forward to seeing more 😃
  • Quests etc aren't my kind of thing. I prefer seeing where gameplay takes me but I might be interested in trying something different and playing in that style if (as the OP has suggested) quests are optional. I like making my own stories and possibilities more at this point
  • Ive very recently started using Plum Tree and so far I'm happy with it. It allows me to add the Sims I want to add as well as their traits and aspiration. Although takes some remembering to update! I like how with Plum tree I can view the whole tree at once and zoom in and out as I do give my spares families and side…
  • Oh amazing. Imagine what could be achieved with this!
  • I used to hate my Sims leaving to go to community lots because of the time it takes and it used to seem like more hassle than it was worth. I've made an effort to change my playing style to try new things and send my Sims out, meeting new people etc. I really like the idea of having minimal skill equipment at home. Seems…
  • That sounds like my kind of pack!!
