I have read through every challenge I've seen for sims 4 and this is the first one that has really peeked my interest. I have always been a builder and legacy style player, so this feels right up my alley. It is a big plus that I have actually not done the required aspirations for any of the 10 generations as yet, so it…
I make the days a sim is in a life stage divisible by the number of seasons I plan on having in that neighborhood. (except babies they are always set to the least number of days possible.
Personally I have a perfect garden community lot in every world I play. One I did that does not require any store content is linked to below. It is cheaty yes, but at least there is only one of each plant not multiples. Sookielee OGC (Onny Garden & Consignment)
Not sure if this would work for you, but I uploaded to the exchange all EA ep world empty. You can actually start a new game with the empty world. Her is the link to Moonlight Falls, others can be found in my studio. Moonlight Falls Empty
With one sim I maxed out all skills, plus completed all collections (except a couple in photography). She also completed all the tombs in WA and most of the jobs.
In one of the legacy I played, my founder lived way past the 90 days. She decided to dies right after her grandchildren graduated from high school. There on the city hall grounds. Talk about one depressed town, I think every townie there knew her. Kind of ruined that graduation moodlet.
I used to place mine in apartments or would build them a small 1 bedroom house on a tiny lot. Honestly I only did this when they hit 90 days, I just did not want to deal with ghosts.
Yes, I have had this happen to me. Blew my mind as all I did was install something from EA for the game, I think it was Luxury SP. I quit without saving, then when to Origin and did the repair thing on every GP, EP and SP. When I went back into my game I did not get the pop up again.
1. Have you tried playing with no CC? Move or Rename the Mods folder in My Documents; start you game and see if that fixes the problem 2. Have you cleared your cache files? http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/
I highly recommend you look through the Master Controller + interactions link @igazor posted. It lists everything you can do with MC and which extra module you should have to be able to use that feature. (Cheats, Integration, Progression and Expanded Tattoo).
When my elders live a excessively long life, I have them work on skills they didn't get/need earlier. Handiness, painting and especially fishing. I think several of my elder sims went from 0 to 10 fishing autonomously.
Depending on the specs of the computer you play The Sims 3 on, you may want to hold off on Seasons. While it does add a lot of ambiance to the game, it is a graphics hog. Generations adds to the family dynamic, but sometimes feels a bit lacking when directly compared to other EP's. Unless you are into the ultra modern…
Personally I think those "hints" everyone raves about are just EA's way to survey the player. They place different "hints" throughout the game and wait to see which ones pop up on the boards.
This happened with my very first legacy founder. As much as I loved her, by the end I was like "die already Please die already". She actually lived long enough to have a great grandchild.
It really depends on the type of CC that you are looking for. Clothes and/or Accessories http://www.all-about-style.com/ http://www.lorandiasims3.com/index.php Cars http://www.freshprincecreations.com/index.htm
While I did enjoy toddlers with both TS2 and TS3, I am only missing them a little bit with TS4. I have purchased each thing that has been released once it went on sale and I will continue to do so. Toddlers would be nice, but not having them is not a deal breaker.
